बंगाल-तमिलनाडू में कमल का खिलना मुश्किल, दोनों राज्यों में हिंदी पट्टी जैसी जहालत और मूढ़ता नहीं 

कल दो महत्वपूर्ण चुनाव होने हैं. तमिलनाडु विधानसभा का चुनाव और बंगाल विधानसभा के एक फेज का चुनाव. तमिलनाडु में तो भाजपा के लिए कोई उम्मीद नहीं, बंगाल को लेकर कृत्रिम किसम की आशंकाएं जतायी जा रही है. लेकिन निश्चिंत रहिये, बंगाल में भी इनकी दाल नहीं गलने वाली, और वजह एकमात्र यह कि इन दोनों राज्यों में हिंदी पट्टी जैसी जहालत नहीं और न मूढ़ता है. मोदी महिलाओं को मूर्ख समझते हैं, लेकिन महिलाएं मूर्ख नहीं. बंगाल और तमिलनाडु दोनों राज्य इनके झांसे में नहीं आने वाले.

तमिलनाडु को इन लोगों ने परिसीमन को लेकर बेहद आशंकित और संवेदनशील कर दिया है. परिसीमन को लेकर बहस होती रही है और इसका रिश्ता आबादी के नियंत्रण से जोड़ कर रखने की कोशिश पूर्व में होती रही है. इसके लिए जो भी नीति बनायी गयी, उस पर दक्षिण के राज्य चले और आबादी को नियंत्रित किया. जबकि हिंदी पट्टी में आबादी बेतहाशा बढ़ी है.

तमिलनाडु में मोदी के खिलाफ माहौल

मुस्लिम आबादी के बढ़ने का खतरा बता कर संघी नेता हिंदुओं को ज्यादा से ज्यादा बच्चे पैदा करने की सलाह देते रहे हैं. वैसे भी जहां गरीबी, आर्थिक पिछड़ापन और जहालत होगी, वहां बच्चे ज्यादा पैदा होंगे. यह आसमेटिक सच्चाई है. अब यदि आबादी को देखते हुए परिसीमन होगा तो हिंदी पट्टी, खास कर उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार में सीटों की संख्या में जबरदस्त इजाफा होगा और धार्मिक ध्रुवीकरण के द्वारा भाजपा सर्वाधिक सीटें जीत कर पूरे देश पर राज करेगी. इस बात की आशंका से तमिलनाडु में मोदी के खिलाफ माहौल है और उनके जीतने की कोई संभावना नहीं.

बंगाल में आजादी के बाद शायद एकाध बार कांग्रेस का शासन रहा. लेकिन सर्वाधिक समय वाम मोर्चे का शासन रहा है. बुद्धदेव भट्टाचार्य की कुछ नीतिगत भूलों की वजह से उनके हाथ से सत्ता निकल गयी और ममता बनर्जी सत्ता पर काबिज हो गयी.

बंंगाल की जनता को बरगलाना आसान नहीं

ममता सादगी से जीने वाली और हर समय जनता के बीच रहनेवाली नेत्री हैं. और बंगाल की जनता भी प्रबुद्ध. वहां अंग्रेजों के जमाने से कई तरह के सुधारवादी आंदोलन चलते रहे,  इसलिए वह सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द वाला राज्य है. जितने लोकप्रिय रवींद्र हैं, उतने ही लोकप्रिय नजरुल और भूपेन हजारिका भी. भाजपा को यदि थोड़ी बहुत सफलता मिली है तो इसकी पहली वजह यह कि वाम मोर्चा अपना राजनीतिक दुश्मन ममता को मानता है, भाजपा को नहीं. यह विश्वसनीय तो नहीं,

लेकिन कहा जाता है कि वाम समर्थक एक रणनीति के तहत भाजपा को वोट दे देते हैं. इसके अलावा वहां भी एक मिडिल क्लास अब पैदा हो गया है जो कारपोरेटमुखी विकास चाहता है. निजी शिक्षा संस्थान, अस्पताल, आईटी सेक्टर का विकास आदि चाहता है.

बावजूद इसके भाजपा वहां सत्ता पर काबिज होने के लिए जिस तरह चुनाव आयोग का उपयोग कर रही है, लाखों की संख्या में वोटरों का नाम काटने की साजिश की है, उससे उसे लाभ कितना होगा, यह कहा नहीं जा सकता, लेकिन वह बेनकाब जरूर हो गयी है. महिला आरक्षण पर उनकी ताजा नौटंकी उनके पक्ष में जाने के बजाय उनके खिलाफ गयी है. मोदी का रोना धोना मगरमच्छ के आंसू जैसे लगते हैं. महिलाएं उतनी मूर्ख नहीं, जितना मोदी समझते हैं.
