विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय हजारीबाग के राजनीति विज्ञान विभाग में गुरुवार को “नारकोटिक्स: दुष्प्रभाव एवं नियंत्रण” विषय पर कार्यशाला का आयोजन विभागीय प्रशाल में किया गया।

कार्यशाला में उपस्थित विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने कहा कि आप में असीम क्षमता है। आप भाग्यशाली है कि एक रफ्तार वाले दौर में है। इसका पूरा लाभ उठाएं। इंटरनेट और ऑनलाइन माध्यमों से अपने को जागरूक रखें। इसके लिए हर प्रकार के नशे से अपने को बचाएं रखें। कहा कि निर्णय आपको करना है।

कुलपति ने विद्यार्थियों से आह्वान किया कि वह स्वयं इस जागरूकता अभियान के प्रहरी बने। आसपास के गांव में जाएं और एक्टिविस्ट बनकर शोध करें। शोध पत्र प्रकाशित करें।

विद्यार्थियों से कुलपति ने उनके करियर के बारे में भी जानना चाहा। पूछा कि आप बताएं कि मुझसे क्या सहयोग की अपेक्षा रखते हैं? कहा की विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा संचालित आगामी नेट-जेट कोचिंग कार्यक्रम से जुड़े।

विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए हेल्पिंग इंडिया ट्रस्ट के संस्थापक-सह-अध्यक्ष शाहिद हुसैन ने कहा की आप युवा देश का भविष्य है। नशे के विरुद्ध अपनी चेतना को जगाए। नशा से स्वयं को बचाएं। नशा कारोबारी के विरुद्ध आवाज़ उठाएं। हमारे भविष्य की नस्ले नष्ट होंगी तो यह दुर्भाग्य की बात होगी। उड़ता पंजाब चलचित्र की चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि झारखंड को उडता पंजाब होने से बचाएं।

शाहिद ने विद्यार्थियों से कहा कि आपको कहीं भी नशा संबंधी गतिविधियों की जानकारी मिलती है तो तत्काल निकटतम थाने को सूचना दे। आप हेल्पिंग इंडिया ट्रस्ट को भी सूचना दे सकते हैं। यह ट्रस्ट एनसीबी (NCB) से सीधा जुड़ा हुआ है। हेल्पिंग इंडिया ट्रस्ट के सचिव शाहिद रज़ा ने भी कार्यशाला को संबोधित किया।

इससे पूर्व पावरप्वाइंट प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से वक्ता महेंद्र पंडित ने मादक पदार्थ के प्रकार एवं इसके सेवन से हो रहे नुकसान की जानकारी दी। प्रधानमंत्री के “फिट इंडिया” कार्यक्रम का भी उल्लेख किया। वक्ता रवि कुमार विश्वकर्मा ने भी पावर प्वाइंट के माध्यम से इसके रोकथाम के विकल्पों की जानकारी दी। बताया कि इस बुराई पर नियंत्रण स्थापित किए बिना प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा निर्धारित “विकसित भारत2047” के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते हैं।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ सुकल्याण मोइत्रा ने किया तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन विभागीय प्राध्यापक डॉ अजय बहादुर सिंह ने किया। इस अवसर पर ट्रस्ट के सदस्य गजाली खान के अलावे विभागीय शोधार्थी तथा चतुर्थ व प्रथम समसत्र के विद्यार्थी बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित हुए।
