बुलंदशहर में एक मामूली मज़ाक ने खूनी रूप ले लिया और तीन लोगों की जान चली गई। इस सनसनीखेज मामले का अंत पुलिस एनकाउंटर में मुख्य आरोपी जीतू सैनी की मौत के साथ हुआ।
घटना 25 अप्रैल की रात की है, जब बुलंदशहर के RJS फिटनेस जिम में जीतू सैनी का जन्मदिन मनाया जा रहा था। पार्टी में दोस्तों के बीच केक काटा गया और जश्न का माहौल था। इसी दौरान मज़ाक में किसी ने जीतू के चेहरे पर केक लगा दिया, जिससे वह अचानक भड़क उठा। गुस्से में उसने अपने एक साथी की रिवॉल्वर लेकर भाजपा सभासद संजय सैनी के भाई मनीष (30), भतीजे आकाश (19) और चचेरे भाई अमरदीप (32) पर ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां चला दीं। इस हमले में तीनों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
करीब 30 वर्षीय जीतू सैनी बॉडीबिल्डर था और ‘मिस्टर यूपी’ प्रतियोगिता में सेकेंड रनर-अप रह चुका था। वह 2017 में बसपा का नगर अध्यक्ष भी रह चुका था। घटना के बाद वह फरार हो गया, जिस पर पुलिस ने 50 हजार रुपये का इनाम घोषित किया था।
30 अप्रैल की सुबह करीब 5 बजे खुर्जा थाना क्षेत्र में पुलिस ने उसे स्कूटी पर जाते हुए रोका। पुलिस के अनुसार, उसने फायरिंग शुरू कर दी, जिसके जवाब में हुई मुठभेड़ में उसे तीन गोलियां लगीं। गंभीर हालत में उसे जिला अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां उसकी मौत हो गई।
मृतक अमरदीप की बहन राधा ने इस पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि उन्हें न्याय मिला है और अब उन्हें कुछ हद तक संतोष हुआ है।
