गोमिया_मध्य प्रदेश के रीवा में दो जैन आर्यिकाओं की सड़क हादसे में हुई दर्दनाक मौत के विरोध में बेरमो अनुमंडल क्षेत्र के सकल जैन समाज ने मंगलवार को जोरदार विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। गोमिया, साड़म, पेटरवार एवं जैनामोड़ के सैकड़ों महिला-पुरुषों ने एकजुट होकर मौन पदयात्रा एवं जुलूस निकाला और संतों की सुरक्षा को लेकर आवाज बुलंद की।
हाथों में तख्तियां और बैनर लिए जैन समाज के लोग शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से पदयात्रा करते हुए अनुमंडल कार्यालय पहुंचे, जहां अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी मुकेश मछुवा को ज्ञापन सौंपा गया। ज्ञापन के माध्यम से प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से देशभर में जैन साधु-संतों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने हेतु “संत सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल” लागू करने एवं राष्ट्रीय संत सुरक्षा नीति बनाने की मांग की गई।
इस अवसर पर समाजसेवी संजय जैन एवं पेटरवार की पूर्व जिला परिषद सदस्या मंजू जैन ने कहा कि रीवा की घटना ने पूरे जैन समाज को झकझोर कर रख दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि देशभर में जैन समाज मौन जुलूस निकालकर अपनी पीड़ा और आक्रोश प्रकट कर रहा है। साधु-संतों की सुरक्षा सरकार की प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति न हो।
मौन जुलूस में बड़ी संख्या में जैन समाज की महिलाएं, पुरुष एवं युवा शामिल हुए। पूरे कार्यक्रम के दौरान अनुशासन और शांति का विशेष ध्यान रखा गया।
