अमेरिका द्वारा लगाए गए कड़े तकनीकी प्रतिबंधों के बावजूद चीनी टेक कंपनी Huawei अब खुद अत्याधुनिक चिप निर्माण की दिशा में तेजी से आगे बढ़ रही है। कंपनी ने हाल ही में दावा किया है कि उसने ऐसी नई तकनीक और उत्पादन प्रक्रिया विकसित कर ली है, जिसके जरिए वह वर्ष 2031 तक सुपरफास्ट और हाई-परफॉर्मेंस चिप्स तैयार करने में सक्षम हो जाएगी। माना जा रहा है कि ये चिप्स दुनिया की सबसे महंगी और एडवांस टेक्नोलॉजी कंपनियों के प्रोडक्ट्स को सीधी टक्कर दे सकती हैं।
दरअसल, पिछले कुछ वर्षों में अमेरिका ने राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का हवाला देते हुए हुआवे पर कई तरह की पाबंदियां लगाई थीं। इन प्रतिबंधों के कारण कंपनी को उन्नत सेमीकंडक्टर तकनीक, आधुनिक मशीनों और अमेरिकी कंपनियों से मिलने वाले जरूरी हार्डवेयर तक पहुंच में भारी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा। विशेषज्ञों का मानना था कि इन पाबंदियों के बाद हुआवे की तकनीकी प्रगति धीमी पड़ जाएगी, लेकिन कंपनी ने इसके उलट आत्मनिर्भर बनने की दिशा में बड़ा कदम उठाया है।
हुआवे अब अपने रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट पर भारी निवेश कर रही है। कंपनी का लक्ष्य केवल स्मार्टफोन चिप्स बनाना ही नहीं, बल्कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, क्लाउड कंप्यूटिंग और हाई-स्पीड नेटवर्किंग के लिए भी अत्याधुनिक प्रोसेसर तैयार करना है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, कंपनी नई निर्माण तकनीकों और घरेलू सप्लाई चेन के सहारे विदेशी निर्भरता कम करने की कोशिश कर रही है।
तकनीकी जानकारों का कहना है कि यदि हुआवे अपने लक्ष्य में सफल होती है, तो वैश्विक चिप बाजार में बड़ा बदलाव देखने को मिल सकता है। इससे अमेरिका और चीन के बीच तकनीकी प्रतिस्पर्धा और तेज हो सकती है, वहीं दुनिया की बड़ी टेक कंपनियों के लिए भी नई चुनौती खड़ी हो जाएगी।
