खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं तंबाकू निषेध टीम की संयुक्त छापेमारी, विद्यालयों के 100 मीटर दायरे में जांच अभियान

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त एवं अभिहित अधिकारी-सह-अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी गुमला के संयुक्त निर्देश पर जिले के टोटो, घाघरा एवं बिशुनपुर क्षेत्र में खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों एवं जनस्वास्थ्य से जुड़े नियमों के अनुपालन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग एवं तंबाकू निषेध टीम द्वारा विशेष संयुक्त छापेमारी अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान का नेतृत्व खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी एवं तंबाकू निषेध पदाधिकारी वंदना स्मिता ने किया।

अभियान के दौरान विभिन्न खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों, किराना दुकानों, थोक एवं खुदरा विक्रेताओं की सघन जांच की गई। निरीक्षण में कुछ दुकानों में खाद्य पदार्थों में स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक अखाद्य (औद्योगिक) रंगों का उपयोग पाया गया। ऐसे खाद्य पदार्थों को तत्काल नष्ट कराया गया तथा संबंधित दुकानदारों को कड़ी चेतावनी देते हुए भविष्य में पुनः अनियमितता पाए जाने पर खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम, 2006 के तहत कार्रवाई करने की बात कही गई।

जांच के दौरान खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों में स्वच्छता, खाद्य पदार्थों के सुरक्षित भंडारण, लाइसेंस एवं पंजीकरण, एक्सपायरी तिथि तथा लेबलिंग संबंधी प्रावधानों की भी समीक्षा की गई। अधिकारियों ने दुकानदारों को खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के प्रति जागरूक करते हुए उपभोक्ताओं को सुरक्षित एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने का निर्देश दिया।

इसके साथ ही तंबाकू निषेध टीम द्वारा कोटपा अधिनियम, 2003 एवं संशोधित अधिनियम, 2021 के तहत सार्वजनिक स्थलों एवं दुकानों का निरीक्षण किया गया। नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले कुल तीन प्रतिष्ठानों पर 1000 रूपये का अर्थदंड लगाया गया तथा तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री एवं प्रदर्शन संबंधी नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए गए।

अभियान के क्रम में विकास भारती, बिशुनपुर एवं कस्तूरबा गाँधी बालिका आवासीय विद्यालय, बिशुनपुर का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। विद्यालयों एवं शिक्षण संस्थानों के 100 मीटर की परिधि में तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री पर प्रतिबंध संबंधी प्रावधानों की जांच की गई तथा आसपास के दुकानदारों को नियमों की जानकारी देते हुए सख्त अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया गया।

खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे केवल मानकयुक्त एवं सुरक्षित खाद्य पदार्थों का उपयोग करें तथा खाद्य मिलावट, अखाद्य रंगों के प्रयोग या खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों के उल्लंघन की सूचना विभाग को दें। विभाग ने स्पष्ट किया कि जनस्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा एवं उपभोक्ताओं के हितों की रक्षा के लिए इस प्रकार के निरीक्षण एवं छापेमारी अभियान आगे भी नियमित रूप से जारी रहेंगे।
