मेहनत की कमाई बचाइए, बाइक को सुरक्षित रखिए: गोमिया पुलिस की अनोखी पहल

गोमिया। एक बाइक खरीदने के लिए आम आदमी को कड़ी मेहनत करनी पड़ती है। कई लोग अपनी जरूरतों में कटौती कर पैसे जुटाते हैं, तो कई लोग लोन लेकर वाहन खरीदते हैं और लंबे समय तक उसकी किस्तें चुकाते हैं। ऐसे में थोड़ी सी लापरवाही उनकी मेहनत की कमाई पर भारी पड़ सकती है।

इसी को लेकर गोमिया थाना पुलिस ने वाहन मालिकों से विशेष सतर्कता बरतने की अपील की है। थाना प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल कुमार महतो ने कहा कि अक्सर लोग बाजार, पार्टी, शादी समारोह या अन्य कार्यक्रमों में बाइक को केवल हैंडल लॉक लगाकर छोड़ देते हैं। वहीं कई लोग रात में घर के बाहर ही बाइक खड़ी कर सो जाते हैं। अपराधी ऐसे ही अवसरों की तलाश में रहते हैं और मौका मिलते ही बाइक चोरी कर लेते हैं।
पुलिस के अनुसार चोरी की गई बाइकों का हुलिया बदलकर उन्हें दूसरे क्षेत्रों में भेज दिया जाता है, जहां उनका उपयोग अवैध गतिविधियों, विशेषकर कोयला ढुलाई जैसे कार्यों में किया जाता है। इससे वाहन मालिक को आर्थिक नुकसान के साथ-साथ मानसिक परेशानी का भी सामना करना पड़ता है।

थाना प्रभारी ने लोगों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि अपनी मेहनत की कमाई से खरीदी गई बाइक की सुरक्षा स्वयं सुनिश्चित करें। वाहन को सुरक्षित स्थान पर पार्क करें और अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा उपायों का उपयोग करें।

गोमिया पुलिस ने एक सराहनीय पहल करते हुए कहा है कि जिन लोगों के पास घर में बाइक रखने की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था नहीं है, वे अपनी बाइक थाना परिसर में पार्क कर सकते हैं। पुलिस के अनुसार थाना परिसर में वाहन सुरक्षित रहेगा और चोरी की आशंका भी काफी हद तक कम हो जाएगी।

इस जागरूकता अभियान में थाना प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल कुमार महतो के साथ एएसआई अखिलेश कुमार एवं एएसआई बिनोद कुमार मुंडा भी लोगों से वाहन सुरक्षा को लेकर सजग रहने की अपील कर रहे हैं।
