गोमिया– गोमिया प्रखंड के कोड़वाटांड़ पंचायत में जिला परिषद द्वारा 15वें वित्त आयोग (स्वास्थ्य मद) के तहत निर्मित होने वाले उप स्वास्थ्य केंद्र भवन का शिलान्यास जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सुनिता देवी ने नारियल फोड़कर किया। इस अवसर पर पंचायत के मुखिया बबलू हेम्ब्रम एवं रामजी तिवारी भी उपस्थित रहे।
शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष सुनिता देवी ने कहा कि कोड़वाटांड़ पंचायत सहित पूरे बोकारो जिले में जिला परिषद की ओर से 28 उप स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों का निर्माण कराया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि इससे पूर्व भी जिला परिषद के माध्यम से 14 उप स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों का निर्माण कराया जा चुका है, जहां ग्रामीणों की सुविधा के लिए डॉक्टर, एएनएम एवं जीएनएम नियमित रूप से अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार की प्राथमिकता गांव-गांव तक बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं पहुंचाना है। इसी उद्देश्य के तहत वर्ष 2027 तक बोकारो जिले की प्रत्येक पंचायत में उप स्वास्थ्य केंद्र स्थापित करने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया है। इससे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के लोगों को प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के लिए दूर-दराज नहीं जाना पड़ेगा तथा स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उनके घर के नजदीक उपलब्ध हो सकेंगी।
कार्यक्रम में समाजसेवी एवं युवा नेता चितरंजन साव, हरीश तिवारी, पंचायत समिति सदस्य रूबेदा परवीन, वार्ड सदस्य मनोज करमाली सहित बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण उपस्थित थे। सभी ने इस पहल को ग्रामीण स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया।
