गोमिया– आगामी इस्लामिक पर्व मुहर्रम को शांतिपूर्ण, सुरक्षित एवं सौहार्दपूर्ण वातावरण में संपन्न कराने के उद्देश्य से गुरुवार को आईईएल थाना परिसर में शांति समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता प्रखंड प्रमुख प्रमिला चौड़े ने की। बैठक में जिला परिषद सदस्य, पंचायत प्रतिनिधि, ताजियादार, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता तथा क्षेत्र के गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।
बैठक में थाना प्रभारी श्यामल मंडल ने कहा कि मुहर्रम के दौरान सभी समितियां प्रशासन द्वारा जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करें। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी प्रकार की अफवाह, भड़काऊ पोस्ट या सामाजिक सौहार्द बिगाड़ने की कोशिश करने वालों पर पुलिस की कड़ी नजर रहेगी और दोषियों के विरुद्ध सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी महादेव कुमार महतो ने ताजिया एवं अखाड़ा समितियों से लाइसेंस, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था तथा निर्धारित मार्ग और समय का पालन सुनिश्चित करने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि जुलूस के दौरान बिजली के तारों एवं अन्य संभावित दुर्घटनाओं से बचाव के लिए विशेष सावधानी बरती जाए।
बैठक में जिला परिषद सदस्य डॉ. सुरेंद्र राज, मुखिया बंटी उरांव, शांति देवी,पंसस प्रवीण कुमार यादव, चंदन पासवान, मो सलीमउद्दीन सहित अन्य जनप्रतिनिधियों ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किए और मुहर्रम को आपसी भाईचारे एवं सौहार्द के साथ मनाने की अपील की।
अंत में उपस्थित सभी लोगों ने प्रशासन को पूर्ण सहयोग देने तथा क्षेत्र में शांति, सद्भाव और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने का संकल्प लिया। प्रशासन ने आम लोगों से अफवाहों पर ध्यान नहीं देने और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को देने की अपील की।
