विश्व योग दिवस पर नगर भवन में आयोजित हुआ जिला स्तरीय योग कार्यक्रम, उपायुक्त ने नियमित योग अपनाने का किया आह्वान

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर रविवार को जिला आयुष चिकित्सा विभाग, गुमला के तत्वावधान में नगर भवन, गुमला में जिला स्तरीय योग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर जिले के विभिन्न विभागों के पदाधिकारियों, कर्मियों, जनप्रतिनिधियों, विद्यार्थियों एवं आम नागरिकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेते हुए योगाभ्यास किया।

कार्यक्रम में उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेश रंजन, नगर परिषद अध्यक्ष शकुंतला उरांव, अपर समाहर्ता राजीव नीरज, डीसीएलआर राजीव कुमार, सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी, एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव, जिला खेल पदाधिकारी प्रवीण कुमार,सहायक सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी एलीना दास सहित विभिन्न विभागों के पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम में 100 से अधिक अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं नागरिकों ने सहभागिता दर्ज कराई।
योग प्रशिक्षकों के मार्गदर्शन में उपस्थित प्रतिभागियों को कॉमन योग प्रोटोकॉल के अंतर्गत विभिन्न योगासन, प्राणायाम एवं ध्यान का अभ्यास कराया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रतिभागियों ने योग के माध्यम से शारीरिक, मानसिक एवं भावनात्मक संतुलन बनाए रखने का संकल्प लिया।
इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो ने सभी को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि योग भारत की प्राचीन एवं अमूल्य धरोहर है, जो आज पूरे विश्व को स्वस्थ जीवन जीने की प्रेरणा दे रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय की व्यस्त जीवनशैली, तनाव एवं स्वास्थ्य संबंधी चुनौतियों के बीच योग शारीरिक एवं मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को सुदृढ़ बनाए रखने का प्रभावी माध्यम है।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि योग केवल एक दिन का आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि इसे दैनिक जीवन का हिस्सा बनाना आवश्यक है। नियमित योगाभ्यास से शरीर स्वस्थ, मन शांत एवं कार्यक्षमता में वृद्धि होती है। उन्होंने सभी नागरिकों से प्रतिदिन योग करने तथा अपने परिवार एवं समाज को भी योग के प्रति जागरूक करने का आह्वान किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस वर्ष की थीम “स्वस्थ वृद्धावस्था के लिए योग” जीवन के प्रत्येक चरण में योग की उपयोगिता को दर्शाती है। योग स्वस्थ एवं सक्रिय जीवन के साथ-साथ बढ़ती उम्र में भी शारीरिक और मानसिक सशक्तता बनाए रखने में सहायक है।
ज्ञात हो कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर जिले के विभिन्न प्रखंड मुख्यालयों, शैक्षणिक संस्थानों एवं सरकारी कार्यालयों में भी योग कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए। कार्यक्रम का समापन योग को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने तथा स्वस्थ एवं निरोग समाज के निर्माण हेतु सामूहिक संकल्प के साथ किया गया।
