शराब के नशे में आम के पेड़ पर चढ़ा युवक, घंटों मशक्कत के बाद पुलिस ने सुरक्षित उतारा

गोमिया– रविवार को आइईएल थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत बैंक मोड़ के समीप उस समय अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया, जब एक युवक शराब के नशे में आम के एक ऊंचे पेड़ पर चढ़ गया। युवक काफी ऊंचाई पर पहुंचकर अनाप-शनाप बातें करने लगा, जिसे देखकर आसपास के ग्रामीणों और राहगीरों की भीड़ जुट गई।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार युवक पेड़ की सबसे ऊपरी डालियों तक चढ़ गया था, जिससे उसके गिरने की आशंका बनी हुई थी। मामले की सूचना तत्काल आइईएल थाना पुलिस को दी गई। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस दल मौके पर पहुंचा और काफी मशक्कत के बाद युवक को सुरक्षित नीचे उतारने की कार्रवाई शुरू की।
पुलिस ने एक व्यक्ति को पेड़ पर चढ़ाकर रस्सी की मदद से युवक को सुरक्षित बांधा और सावधानीपूर्वक नीचे उतारा। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार युवक शराब के नशे में धुत था। बताया जाता है कि पेड़ पर लगे आम तोड़ने के उद्देश्य से वह एक थैला लेकर ऊपर चढ़ा था, लेकिन नशे की हालत में संतुलन खो बैठा और काफी ऊंचाई पर फंस गया।
करीब चार से पांच घंटे की कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद युवक को सुरक्षित नीचे उतारा गया। उसकी पहचान लोधी पंचायत के वनचतरा क्षेत्र के छहगांवा निवासी छोटन मांझी के रूप में हुई है। जानकारी के अनुसार छोटन मांझी दैनिक मजदूरी का कार्य करता है और रविवार को बाजार आया था। इसी दौरान उसने शराब का सेवन कर लिया और आम तोड़ने के लिए पेड़ पर चढ़ गया।
घटना में किसी प्रकार की जनहानि या चोट की सूचना नहीं है। पुलिस ने स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से युवक के परिजनों का पता लगाया और उन्हें फोन के माध्यम से सूचना दी। परिजन मौके पर पहुंचे, जिसके बाद युवक को सुरक्षित उनके साथ घर भेज दिया गया।
स्थानीय लोगों ने आइईएल थाना पुलिस की तत्परता और सूझबूझ की सराहना की, जिसके कारण एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया। पुलिस ने लोगों से शराब के नशे में इस प्रकार के जोखिम भरे कार्यों से बचने की अपील की है।
