अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस पर खेल प्रतिभाओं का हुआ सम्मान, विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में खिलाड़ियों ने दिखायें अपने दमखम

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस के अवसर पर मंगलवार को गुमला जिला प्रशासन एवं जिला खेल विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में जिले में विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं एवं सम्मान समारोह का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करना, खेल संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देना तथा जिले की खेल प्रतिभाओं को सम्मानित करना था।

कार्यक्रम में उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो ने खिलाड़ियों, प्रशिक्षकों एवं खेल प्रेमियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि गुमला जिले का गौरवशाली इतिहास रहा है और यहां के खिलाड़ियों ने राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया है। उन्होंने जिले के अनेक खिलाड़ियों की उपलब्धियों का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि खेल केवल प्रतिस्पर्धा का माध्यम नहीं, बल्कि अनुशासन, समर्पण और उत्कृष्टता का प्रतीक है।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन खिलाड़ियों के सम्मान, प्रोत्साहन एवं सहयोग के लिए सदैव प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने युवा खिलाड़ियों से अपने खेल कौशल को निरंतर निखारने तथा राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जिले का नाम रोशन करने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने सभी खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।

इस अवसर पर जिले के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय, राष्ट्रीय एवं राज्यस्तरीय खिलाड़ियों को सम्मानित किया गया। सम्मानित खिलाड़ियों में पूर्व ओलंपियन एवं हॉकी खिलाड़ी मनोहर टोप्पो, पूर्व एथलेटिक्स खिलाड़ी महावीर राम लोहरा, मो. इरफान, पूर्व फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी मो. सिराज, फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी रेखा उरांव, सुधा अंकिता तिर्की, अंकित टोप्पो, हॉकी खिलाड़ी मनीष कुजूर एवं रितु टोप्पो, एथलेटिक्स खिलाड़ी सुजल कुमार, फ्लोरेन्स बरला, आशा किरण बरला, साकेत मिंज, सुप्रीति कच्छप, वॉलीबॉल खिलाड़ी सोनाक्षी कुमारी, बैडमिंटन खिलाड़ी हर्षित राज, हैंडबॉल खिलाड़ी दीपक कुमार एवं पूनम कुमारी, कुश्ती खिलाड़ी एलिन इंदवार, आशीष कुमार साहु, पूजा कुमारी, कबड्डी खिलाड़ी सलोनी कुमारी, शूटिंग खिलाड़ी सुप्रिया कुमारी, स्वर्ण पदक विजेता ताशा झा तथा थ्रो बॉल खिलाड़ी असुंता टोप्पो शामिल रहे।

कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत हॉकी, फुटबॉल, एथलेटिक्स एवं बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिताओं का भी आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें जिले के विभिन्न विद्यालयों एवं खेल संस्थानों के खिलाड़ियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

हॉकी प्रतियोगिता में बालिका वर्ग में उर्सुलाइन कॉन्वेंट गर्ल्स हाई स्कूल, गुमला ने विजेता तथा उर्सुलाइन कॉन्वेंट प्राइमरी स्कूल, गुमला ने उपविजेता का खिताब प्राप्त किया। वहीं बालक वर्ग में सेंट इग्नेशियस हाई स्कूल, गुमला विजेता तथा सेंट जेवियर्स हाई स्कूल, गुमला उपविजेता रहा।

फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में भी खिलाड़ियों ने उत्कृष्ट खेल कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया। बालिका वर्ग में डे बोर्डिंग ए की टीम ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए विजेता का खिताब अपने नाम किया, जबकि डे बोर्डिंग बी की टीम उपविजेता रही। वहीं बालक वर्ग में ग्रामीण एकादश, गुमला की टीम विजेता बनी तथा संत इग्नासियुस हाई स्कूल, गुमला की टीम उपविजेता रही। प्रतियोगिता के दौरान खिलाड़ियों ने अनुशासन, खेल भावना एवं टीम वर्क का उत्कृष्ट परिचय दिया, जिसकी उपस्थित जनप्रतिनिधियों, अधिकारियों एवं दर्शकों ने सराहना की।

एथलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिता में 100 मीटर, 600 मीटर दौड़, लंबी कूद एवं गोला फेंक जैसी स्पर्धाओं में खिलाड़ियों ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया। बालक वर्ग में कामदेव मरांडी, आकाश उरांव एवं आर्यण गोप ने विभिन्न स्पर्धाओं में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। वहीं बालिका वर्ग में मनीषा उरांव, सुमन कुमारी एवं आदशवी पाल ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया।

बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता में अंडर-14 बालक एकल वर्ग में अनुराग साहु विजेता तथा रोशन राज मरांडी उपविजेता रहे। अंडर-17 बालक एकल वर्ग में राजन कुमार सिंह विजेता एवं रौनक राज उपविजेता बने। अंडर-17 युगल वर्ग में कुबेर कुमार दास एवं अंश कुमार यादव की जोड़ी विजेता रही। विशेष पुरस्कारों के अंतर्गत आदित्य राज को बेस्ट परफॉर्मर तथा पूजा कुमारी को गुमला स्टैंडआउट बैडमिंटन आइकॉन (गर्ल्स) सम्मान प्रदान किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्य रूप से उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेश रंजन, अपर समाहर्ता राजीव नीरज, अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी सदर अखिलेश कुमार, जिला सहायक निदेशक सामाजिक सुरक्षा विभाग सह जिला सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी ललन कुमार रजक, जिला खेल पदाधिकारी प्रवीण कुमार सहित अन्य पदाधिकारी, खेल प्रशिक्षक, खिलाड़ी एवं खेल प्रेमी उपस्थित थे।
