गुमला : – गुमला जिले में सांप काटने से अलग-अलग घटनाओं में एक महिला और एक नाबालिक छात्र की हुई दर्दनाक मौत , जमीन में सोने के कारण सांप ने डंसा ( काटा )

आज के आधुनिक परिवेश में रहते हुए भी, अशिक्षा – अज्ञानता और सदियों से जमीन में सोने की परंपरा को लेकर, प्रत्येक वर्ष दर्जनों लोगों की सांप काटने से होती है दर्दनाक मौत, और कभी-कभी अंधविश्वास के चक्कर में पड़कर झाड़फूंक, और देसी जड़ी बूटी के इलाज में होने वालें देर के कारण लोगों को जान गंवानी पड़ती है, जबकि गुमला सदर अस्पताल में सांप काटने से संबंधित पर्याप्त मात्रा में इंजेक्शन उपलब्ध है, बताया जा रहा है की गुमला जिले में सांप काटने से दो लोगों की हुई दर्दनाक मौत, बताया जाता है की अलग-अलग घटनाओं में सांप काटने से एक महिला और एक छात्र को जमीन में सोने के कारण जहरीले सांप ने डंसा ( काटा ) हुई दोनों की दर्दनाक मौत l

उक्त सूचना मिलते ही घाघरा थाना पुलिस और बसिया थाना पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए, उक्त दोनों शवों को पोस्टमॉर्टम हेतु गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम में भेजवाया गया जहाँ पोस्टमार्टम के बाद उक्त दोनों शवों को उसके परिजनों को सौप दिया गया ।पहली घटना गुमला के कसीरा गांव के मधुबन टोली में हुई, जहां 46 वर्षीय दशरी देवी की सांप के काटने से मौत हो गई ,मृतका के पुत्र दिनेश साहू ने बताया कि गुरुवार की देर रात खाना खाने के बाद परिवार के सभी सदस्य जमीन पर सो रहे थे।

इसी दौरान उनकी मां दशरी देवी को एक जहरीले करैत सांप ने काट लिया। उन्हें तुरंत गुमला सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
दूसरी घटना गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित बसिया प्रखंड क्षेत्र के बेलगांव करम टोली गांव में हुई, जहां 17 वर्षीय छात्र माइकल तिर्की को एक जहरीले सांप के काटने से मौत हो गई। परिजनों के अनुसार, माइकल संत जोसेफ स्कूल में इंटर का छात्र था। गुरुवार की मध्य रात्रि को वह भी जमीन पर सोया हुआ था, तभी उसे सांप ने डंस ( काट ) लिया। उसे भी सदर अस्पताल लाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। माइकल अपने दो भाइयों में सबसे छोटा था और उसके पिता एक किसान हैं। उसने इसी वर्ष मैट्रिक की परीक्षा अच्छे अंकों से उत्तीर्ण किया था।
