दुबई में फंसा बगोदर का लालचंद महतो, खाने तक के पैसे नहीं; पत्नी ने लगाई वतन वापसी की गुहार

Gomia – झारखंड के प्रवासी मजदूरों के विदेश में फंसने की घटनाएं लगातार सामने आ रही हैं। इसी कड़ी में गिरिडीह जिले के बगोदर थाना क्षेत्र के तिरला गांव निवासी लालचंद महतो दुबई में गंभीर संकट में फंस गए हैं। उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति इतनी खराब हो चुकी है कि खाने तक के पैसे नहीं हैं। परिवार ने केंद्र और राज्य सरकार से उन्हें सुरक्षित भारत वापस लाने की गुहार लगाई है।

लालचंद महतो रोजगार की तलाश में दुबई गए थे, जहां वे कारपेंटर (बढ़ई) के रूप में कार्यरत थे। कार्य के दौरान उनका पासपोर्ट गुम हो गया, जिसके बाद उन्हें प्रशासनिक और कानूनी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ा। पासपोर्ट नहीं होने के कारण कंपनी ने उन्हें नौकरी से भी निकाल दिया। वर्तमान में वे दुबई में बेहद कठिन परिस्थितियों में जीवन-यापन कर रहे हैं और स्वदेश लौटना चाहते हैं, लेकिन आवश्यक दस्तावेजी प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं होने से उनकी वापसी संभव नहीं हो पा रही है।

लालचंद की पत्नी ने बताया कि परिवार पहले से ही आर्थिक संकट से जूझ रहा है। उनके ससुर दशरथ महतो वर्ष 2013 से मुंबई से लापता हैं। ऐसे में परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति बेहद दयनीय हो गई है और अब पति के विदेश में फंस जाने से संकट और गहरा गया है।

इस मामले में प्रवासी श्रमिकों के लिए कार्य करने वाले सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सिकंदर अली ने केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार से तत्काल हस्तक्षेप कर लालचंद महतो की सकुशल वतन वापसी सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह पहला मामला नहीं है। झारखंड के कई मजदूर अधिक आय की उम्मीद में विदेश जाते हैं, लेकिन दस्तावेजी या अन्य कारणों से वहां फंस जाते हैं। कई मामलों में मजदूरों की मौत भी हो चुकी है और काफी प्रयासों के बाद ही शव या मजदूरों की स्वदेश वापसी हो पाती है।

उन्होंने बताया कि वर्तमान में गिरिडीह जिले के द्वारका महतो और बोकारो जिले के सत्येंद्र महतो का शव सऊदी अरब में पड़ा हुआ है। वहीं बगोदर के महेंद्र महतो सऊदी अरब में फंसे हैं तथा डुमरी के हुलास महतो दुबई की जेल में बंद हैं।
सिकंदर अली ने कहा कि लगातार सामने आ रही ऐसी घटनाओं के बावजूद मजदूर विदेश जाने का जोखिम उठा रहे हैं। उन्होंने सरकार से झारखंड में रोजगार के पर्याप्त अवसर उपलब्ध कराने और सुरक्षित प्रवासन की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की, ताकि मजदूरों का पलायन रुके और वे विदेशों में ऐसी विषम परिस्थितियों का शिकार न हों।
