गोमिया–नीट परीक्षा में कथित धांधली, पेपर लीक की घटनाओं और बढ़ती बेरोजगारी के विरोध में शुक्रवार को गोमिया में छात्र-युवाओं ने पैदल मार्च निकालकर सरकार के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किया। साडम के युवा समाजसेवी मिथुन चंद्रवंशी के नेतृत्व में आयोजित यह मार्च गोमिया काली मंदिर से शुरू होकर गोमिया मोड़ तक पहुंचा, जहां नुक्कड़ सभा का आयोजन किया गया।
प्रदर्शन के दौरान छात्र-छात्राओं और युवाओं ने हाथों में तख्तियां व बैनर लेकर “पेपर लीक बंद करो”, “बेरोजगारी हटाओ” और “शिक्षा मंत्री इस्तीफा दो” जैसे नारे लगाए। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि लगातार हो रही पेपर लीक की घटनाओं से लाखों मेहनती अभ्यर्थियों का भविष्य प्रभावित हो रहा है और प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की निष्पक्षता पर सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं।
सभा में वक्ताओं ने दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर आंदोलनरत छात्रों के समर्थन में अपनी आवाज बुलंद करते हुए वहां छात्रों पर हुए कथित लाठीचार्ज की निंदा की। उनका कहना था कि अपनी मांगों को शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से रखने वाले विद्यार्थियों के साथ बल प्रयोग लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों के विपरीत है।
प्रदर्शनकारियों ने सरकार से प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने, पेपर लीक पर प्रभावी एवं कठोर कानून लागू करने तथा युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के पर्याप्त अवसर उपलब्ध कराने की मांग की। साथ ही केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री से नैतिक जिम्मेदारी लेते हुए इस्तीफा देने की भी मांग की गई।
इस विरोध प्रदर्शन में मिथुन चंद्रवंशी के अलावा अक्षय प्रजापति, पूर्व उपमुखिया विकास जैन, साहिल प्रजापति, नीरज कुमार, करण कुमार, दिव्या कुमारी, श्रेया प्रसाद, श्रुति प्रसाद, प्रार्थना कुमारी, इंसाह अख्तर, इरम अख्तर, मुस्कान परवीन, साहिबा परवीन, सुजीत यादव समेत बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं एवं युवा उपस्थित रहे।
