सर्पदंश से 40 वर्षीय व्यक्ति की मौत, देर रात घर में सोते समय जहरीले सांप ने डंसा

झाड़-फूंक में बीता अहम समय, अस्पताल पहुंचने पर चिकित्सकों ने किया मृत घोषित

गुमला : गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के फट्टी गांव निवासी 40 वर्षीय फूलचंद तिग्गा की जहरीले सांप के डंसने से मौत हो गई। घटना के बाद पूरे गांव में शोक का माहौल है, जबकि परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है। मृतक अपने पीछे पत्नी और तीन बच्चों को छोड़ गए हैं।

परिजनों के अनुसार, फूलचंद तिग्गा शुक्रवार देर रात अपने घर में सो रहे थे। इसी दौरान एक जहरीले सांप ने उनके हाथ में डंस लिया। घटना के बाद देर रात होने और गांव में तत्काल यातायात की सुविधा उपलब्ध नहीं होने के कारण परिजनों ने पहले स्थानीय स्तर पर झाड़-फूंक और देहाती जड़ी-बूटी का सहारा लिया। इससे काफी समय बीत गया, लेकिन उनकी हालत में कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ।

स्थिति गंभीर होने पर परिजन उन्हें आनन-फानन में इलाज के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे। हालांकि, अस्पताल पहुंचने पर चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।

घटना की सूचना मिलने पर गुमला सदर थाना पुलिस सदर अस्पताल पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। पोस्टमार्टम की प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

मृतक के परिजनों ने बताया कि फूलचंद तिग्गा परिवार के मुख्य कमाने वाले सदस्य थे। उनके निधन से पत्नी और तीन बच्चों के सामने आजीविका का संकट खड़ा हो गया है।

गौरतलब है कि बरसात के मौसम में गुमला जिले में सर्पदंश की घटनाओं में लगातार बढ़ोतरी हो रही है। अब तक जिले में सर्पदंश से आधा दर्जन से अधिक लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग लगातार लोगों से अपील कर रहा है कि सांप काटने की स्थिति में झाड़-फूंक के बजाय तुरंत नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र या अस्पताल पहुंचकर चिकित्सकीय उपचार कराएं, क्योंकि समय पर इलाज मिलने से जान बचाई जा सकती है।
