गोमिया। क्षेत्र में चोरी की घटनाओं की रोकथाम और आमजन की सुरक्षा को लेकर गोमिया थाना प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल कुमार महतो ने लोगों से सतर्क रहने की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई परिवार किसी विशेष कारण से अपना घर बंद कर कुछ दिनों के लिए बाहर जा रहा है, तो इसकी सूचना गोमिया थाना को अवश्य दें। इससे पुलिस अपने स्तर पर ऐसे बंद घरों की निगरानी कर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने का प्रयास करेगी।
थाना प्रभारी ने कहा कि पुलिस और आम जनता के सहयोग से ही अपराध पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण संभव है। लोगों की थोड़ी-सी सतर्कता चोरी जैसी घटनाओं को रोकने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकती है।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अभी भी कई लोग अपनी महंगी बाइक और अन्य वाहन घर के बाहर लापरवाही से खड़े कर देते हैं, जो सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से गंभीर चूक है। ऐसे वाहनों को चोर आसानी से निशाना बना सकते हैं। इसलिए सभी वाहन मालिक अपने दोपहिया एवं अन्य वाहनों को सुरक्षित स्थान पर रखें तथा उचित लॉकिंग व्यवस्था का पालन करें।
प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल कुमार महतो ने क्षेत्रवासियों से अपील की कि किसी भी संदिग्ध व्यक्ति या गतिविधि की सूचना तत्काल गोमिया थाना को दें। पुलिस और जनता के आपसी सहयोग से ही क्षेत्र को सुरक्षित एवं अपराधमुक्त बनाया जा सकता है।
