48 पदकों के साथ पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल ने रचा इतिहास, जिला गटका चैंपियनशिप में दिखाया दमखम

गोमिया—खेल प्रतिभाओं को निखारने की अपनी परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाते हुए पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल, गोमिया ने द्वितीय बोकारो जिला गटका चैंपियनशिप-2026 में शानदार प्रदर्शन कर नया इतिहास रच दिया। 2 अगस्त को डीपीएस, चास में बोकारो गटका एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में विद्यालय के खिलाड़ियों ने कुल 48 पदक जीतकर जिले में अपनी अलग पहचान बनाई। इस उपलब्धि पर मंगलवार को विद्यालय की प्रार्थना सभा में सभी विजेता खिलाड़ियों को पदक एवं प्रमाण-पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। पूरे विद्यालय परिसर में तालियों की गूंज के बीच खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया गया।
प्रतियोगिता में बालिका टीम ने सबसे शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए 27 पदक अपने नाम किए, जिनमें 20 स्वर्ण, 5 रजत और 2 कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं। इसी दमदार प्रदर्शन के आधार पर विद्यालय को बालिका वर्ग में ओवरऑल द्वितीय उपविजेता ट्रॉफी भी मिली।
बालिका वर्ग में धारा सिंह ने दो स्वर्ण एवं एक रजत, इशिका सहाय ने दो स्वर्ण, खुशी कुमारी ने दो स्वर्ण, संस्कृति कुमारी ने दो स्वर्ण, वर्षा कुमारी ने दो स्वर्ण, मैथिली ठाकुर ने एक स्वर्ण तथा अविशा सिंह, कनक अनादी टोप्पो और मिष्टी कुमारी ने अंडर-11 टीम स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर विद्यालय का गौरव बढ़ाया। इस सफलता का श्रेय बालिका टीम की कोच खुशी सिंह के समर्पित प्रशिक्षण और मार्गदर्शन को दिया गया।
वहीं बालक टीम ने भी 21 पदक जीतकर अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया। टीम ने 6 स्वर्ण, 7 रजत और 8 कांस्य पदक हासिल किए। साहिल सिंह ने व्यक्तिगत एवं टीम स्पर्धा में दो स्वर्ण, अनमोल शुभम, आदित्य स्वरूप और सौरव तिवारी ने टीम स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण तथा अभय यादव ने व्यक्तिगत फरी सोती स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। उत्कर्ष वीर, मो. हबीबुल्लाह और आयुष बर्मन ने भी रजत एवं कांस्य पदक जीतकर विद्यालय की झोली पदकों से भर दी। बालक टीम की सफलता का श्रेय कोच नयीम अंसारी की कड़ी मेहनत और अनुशासित प्रशिक्षण को दिया गया।
विद्यालय के प्राचार्य बृज मोहन लाल दास ने कहा कि जिला स्तर पर 48 पदक जीतना विद्यार्थियों की मेहनत, अनुशासन और खेल भावना का प्रमाण है। उन्होंने खिलाड़ियों, कोचों और अभिभावकों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि ऐसी उपलब्धियां विद्यार्थियों को हर क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए प्रेरित करती हैं।
विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष अरिंदम दासगुप्ता ने कहा कि यह उपलब्धि पूरे पिट्स परिवार के लिए गर्व का विषय है और विद्यालय की खेल व गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। वहीं आईपीएल (ओरिका) गोमिया के एमसीएम अभिषेक विश्वास ने कहा कि खेल बच्चों में अनुशासन, आत्मविश्वास और नेतृत्व क्षमता का विकास करते हैं तथा 48 पदकों की यह ऐतिहासिक जीत खिलाड़ियों की मेहनत और प्रशिक्षकों के समर्पण का परिणाम है।
विद्यालय परिवार ने सभी विजेता खिलाड़ियों, प्रशिक्षकों और अभिभावकों को बधाई देते हुए भविष्य में भी राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन की शुभकामनाएं दीं।
