गुमला : – गुमला जिला की बेटियों ने 65वें सुब्रतो मुखर्जी फुटबॉल कप के अंडर-17 बालिका राष्ट्रीय खेल में झारखंड का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रही गुमला की संत पैट्रिक स्कूल की बेटियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए लीग के दूसरे मुकाबले में इंडियन पब्लिक स्कूल, राजस्थान को 11–0 से करारी शिकस्त दी। गुमला की टीम ने पूरे मुकाबले में दबदबा बनाए रखा और राजस्थान की टीम को एक भी गोल करने का मौका नहीं दिया।

मैच की शुरुआत के महज 3 मिनट में कीर्ति उरांव ने पहला गोल दागकर टीम को बढ़त दिलाई। इसके बाद कीर्ति ने लगातार तीन गोल कर अपनी शानदार हैट्रिक पूरी की। सबरनी कुमारी ने चौथा और सुनयना टोप्पो ने पांचवां गोल किया। इसके बाद सीमा उरांव ने लगातार तीन गोल दागकर स्कोर 8–0 कर दिया। वीणा कुमारी ने नौवां, सीमा उरांव ने दसवां तथा सोनल मुंडा ने ग्यारहवां गोल कर टीम की शानदार जीत सुनिश्चित की।

इस शानदार प्रदर्शन के बाद जिला प्रशासन गुमला सहित पूरे खेल विभाग एवं शिक्षा विभाग में खुशी की लहर है। उपायुक्त गुमला एवं जिला खेल पदाधिकारी, जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी, जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक सहित शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारियों एवं जिले के खेल प्रेमियों एवं वरिष्ठ खिलाड़ियों ने इस टीम को बधाई देते हुए आगामी मुकाबलों के लिए अपनी शुभकामनाएं दी हैं।

अब लीग के दो मुकाबले शेष हैं और इस शानदार जीत के बाद गुमला की बेटियों का आत्मविश्वास अपने शिखर पर है। टीम की प्रशिक्षक वीणा केरकेट्टा समन्वय एवं खिलाड़ियों का निरंतर मार्गदर्शन कर रही हैं। गुमला की बेटियों के इस प्रदर्शन से राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जिले और झारखंड का नाम रोशन हुआ है।
