गुमला : – कमला जिले में प्रेम, विश्वास, समर्पण और अखंड सौभाग्य की कामना का प्रतीक करवा चौथ का पर्व हर्षोल्लास और पारंपरिक श्रद्धा के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर सुहागिन महिलाओं ने अपने पति की लंबी आयु, उत्तम स्वास्थ्य और दांपत्य जीवन की सुख-समृद्धि की कामना करते हुए व्रत रखा। पारंपरिक परिधानों और सोलह शृंगार से सजी महिलाओं के बीच पर्व को लेकर विशेष उत्साह देखने को मिला। पूजा-अर्चना, व्रत कथा और चंद्र दर्शन की परंपरा के बीच करवा चौथ ने पारिवारिक प्रेम और भारतीय सांस्कृतिक विरासत की सुंदर झलक प्रस्तुत की।

करवा चौथ भारतीय समाज का ऐसा पर्व है, जिसमें धार्मिक आस्था के साथ – साथ भावनात्मक जुड़ाव और पारिवारिक परंपराओं का अनूठा संगम देखने को मिलता है। हालांकि यह पर्व मुख्य रूप से उत्तर भारत में विशेष लोकप्रिय है, लेकिन समय के साथ देश के अन्य हिस्सों में भी इसकी लोकप्रियता बढ़ी है। झारखंड के गुमला जिले में भी इस पर्व के प्रति लोगों की आस्था और उत्साह भारतीय त्योहारों की व्यापक सांस्कृतिक स्वीकार्यता को दर्शाता है।

सुबह से ही करवा चौथ के अवसर पर महिलाओं ने करवा चौथ व्रत और पूजा की तैयारियां शुरू कर दी थीं। पारंपरिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, कई महिलाएं सूर्योदय से पहले सरगी ग्रहण कर दिनभर के निर्जला व्रत का संकल्प लेती हैं। इसके बाद पूरे दिन अन्न और जल का त्याग कर पति की दीर्घायु और परिवार की खुशहाली के लिए प्रार्थना की जाती है।
करवा चौथ पर्व के अवसर पर लाल, गुलाबी और अन्य पारंपरिक रंगों के परिधानों, हाथों में रची मेहंदी, चूड़ियों, सिंदूर और आभूषणों से सजी महिलाओं में विशेष उत्साह दिखाई देता है। शाम के समय पूजा की थाली सजाकर महिलाएं करवा चौथ की पूजा अर्चना करती हैं तथा व्रत कथा सुनती हैं। चंद्रमा के उदय होने पर उसे अर्घ्य अर्पित करने और विधि-विधान से व्रत का पारण करने के साथ करवा चौथ पर्व की धार्मिक परंपराएं पूर्ण होती हैं, सनातनी हिंदू धार्मिक परंपरा में करवा चौथ को सुहाग, दांपत्य प्रेम और पारिवारिक मंगलकामना से जुड़ा महत्वपूर्ण व्रत माना जाता है। यह पर्व कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्थी तिथि को मनाया जाता है। यहां ‘करवा’ का संबंध पूजा में उपयोग किए जाने वाले मिट्टी के पात्र से है, जबकि ‘चौथ’ का अर्थ चतुर्थी अर्थात चौथा दिन है।

धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार, करवा चौथ के दिन व्रत रखने वाली महिलाएं भगवान शिव, माता पार्वती, भगवान गणेश और चंद्रदेव की पूजा करती हैं। माता पार्वती को अखंड और चंद्रदेव की पूजा करती हैं। माता पार्वती को अखंड सौभाग्य और दांपत्य सुख का प्रतीक माना जाता है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि श्रद्धापूर्वक व्रत और पूजा करने से पति के जीवन में सुख-समृद्धि आती है तथा परिवार में शांति और मंगल बना रहता है।
चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य देने की परंपरा भी इस पर्व का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है। भारतीय धार्मिक संस्कृति में चंद्रमा को शीतलता, शांति और मन से जुड़ा प्रतीक माना गया है। इसलिए चंद्र दर्शन के बाद व्रत का पारण करना करवा चौथ की प्रमुख धार्मिक परंपराओं में शामिल है।

इन मान्यताओं का आधार धार्मिक आस्था और लोकपरंपराएं हैं। श्रद्धालु इन्हें विश्वास और भक्ति के साथ निभाते है l
