सूबे के शिक्षा मंत्री जगरनाथ महतो ने चेन्नई अस्पताल में ली अंतिम सांस, डुमरी में छाया सन्नाटा

रांची: झारखंड के शिक्षा मंत्री जगरनाथ महतो चेन्नई के अस्पताल में इलाज के दौरान गुरुवार को उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली। वे गिरिडीह के डुमरी से विधायक थे। पिछले दो-ढाई साल तक कोरोना से पीड़ित रहने के कारण उनका इंफेक्शन इतना बढ़ गया था कि उनके फेफड़े का ट्रांसप्लांट तक करना पड़ा था। 2020 में उन्हें कोरोना हुआ था। उसके बाद उनकी सेहत में सुधार तो हुआ लेकिन वह पूरी बीमारी पर काबू नहीं पा रहे थे. 14 मार्च को विधानसभा के मानसून सत्र के दौरान अचानक उनकी तबीयत खराब हो गई थी। घबराहट और बेचैनी के बाद उनको पास के ही एचइसी-पारस अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। सीटी स्कैन सहित सभी प्रकार की जांच हुई, जिसमें लंग्स में माइल्ड इंफेक्शन के संकेत मिले थे। उनको आईसीयू में शिफ्ट किया गया। रात में उन्हें एयर एंबुलेंस से एमजीएम चेन्नई शिफ्ट कर दिया गया था।

सीएम ने ट्विट कर कहा-हमारे टाइगर नहीं रहे

शिक्षा मंत्री के निधन के बाद पक्ष-विपक्ष ने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी है. झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने ट्विट कर शोक जताया है। उन्होंने लिखा कि हमारे टाइगर जगरनाथ दा नहीं रहे! आज झारखंड ने अपना एक महान आंदोलनकारी, जुझारू, कर्मठ और जनप्रिय नेता खो दिया। चेन्नई में इलाज के दौरान जगरनाथ महतो जी का निधन हो गया। परमात्मा दिवंगत आत्मा को शांति प्रदान कर शोकाकुल परिवार को दुःख की यह विकट घड़ी सहन करने की शक्ति दें। 14 मार्च को अस्पताल में जगरनाथ महतो का हालचाल लेने सीएम सोरेन अंतिम बार उनसे मिले थे।

जगरनाथ जी की जीवटता का मैं कायल रहा: बाबूलाल

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के विधायक दल के नेता बाबूलाल मरांडी ने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा कि झारखंड सरकार के मंत्री जगरनाथ महतो जी के चेन्नई के अस्पताल में निधन की बेहद दुःखद सूचना मिली है। लंबे समय से बीमारी को हराते हुए योद्धा की भांति डंटे रहनेवाले जगरनाथ जी का चले जाना पूरे झारखंड के लिए अत्यंत दुखदायी है। राजनीतिक मतभिन्नताओं के बावजूद व्यक्तिगत रूप से उनकी जीवटता का मैं सदैव प्रशंसक रहा हूं। उन्होंने डुमरी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लोगों के प्रति संवेदना जताई है.

राज्य में दो दिनों का राजकीय शोक मनाया जाएगा

शिक्षा मंत्री जगरनाथ महतो के सम्मान में दो दिनों का राजकीय शोक मनाया जाएगा। आज और कल तक राजकीय शोक रहेगा। इस दौरान सभी भवनों जहां नियमित रूप से राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराये जाते हैं, पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज आधा झुका रहेगा। इस दौरान किसी भी प्रकार का राजकीय समारोह नहीं होगा। इसके साथ ही राज्य सरकार ने निर्णय लिया है कि छह अप्रैल यानी आज राज्य के सभी कार्यालय बंद रहेंगे। मंत्रिमंडल सचिवालय एवं निगरानी विभाग की ओर से यह अधिसूचना ज्वाइंट सेक्रेटरी अखिलेश कुमार सिन्हा के हस्ताक्षर से जारी किया गया है। वहीं आज होनेवाली कैबिनेट की बैठक भी स्थगित कर दी गयी है। सरकारी प्रतिष्ठानों में भी सन्नाटा छा गया है. वहीं डुमरी विधानसभा क्षेत्र में उनके चाहनेवाले निधन की खबर से मायूस हो गए हैं.
