चन्द्रपुरा (बोकारो) : झारखंड के स्कूली शिक्षा व साक्षरता तथा मद्य निषेध व उत्पाद मंत्री टाइगर जगरनाथ महतो का भंडारीदह दामोदर नदी शमशान घाट के तट पर पंचतत्व में विलीन हो गए। उनके पुत्र अखिलेश महतो उर्फ राजू से मुखाग्नि दी। राजकीय सम्मान के साथ उनको विदाई दी गई। दोपहर करीब तीन बजे रांची से उनका शव पैतृक गांव अलारगो के सिमराकुल्ही पहुंचा। सीएम हेमंत सोरेन रांची से उनके गांव पहुंच कर स्वयं शवयात्रा की अगवानी की।
शवयात्रा में शामिल हुए सीएम व कई मंत्री-विधायक
मौके पर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष आरएन महतो, मंत्री बादल पत्रलेख, विधायक कुमार जयमंगल, डीसी कुलदीप चौधरी, एसपी चंदन कुमार झा सहित कई आला अधिकारी उपस्थित थे। शव के घर आते ही परिवार के लोग दहाड़ मारकर रोने लगे। सबसे खराब हाल बेटियों का था।
शोकाकुल परिवार को सीएम ने ढांढस बंधाया
शवयात्रा में मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष रवींद्र नाथ महतो, श्रम मंत्री सत्यानंद भोक्ता, परिवहन मंत्री चंपई सोरेन, कृषि मंत्री बादल पत्रलेख, पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता मंत्री मिथलेश ठाकुर, राज्यसभा सदस्य डा. महुआ मांझी आदि ने दिवंगत शिक्षा मंत्री जगरनाथ महतो के अलारगो स्थित पैतृक आवास पर जाकर परिजनों से मुलाकात कर, उन्हें सांत्वना दिया। दुख के इस घड़ी से उबरने के लिए ईश्वर को परिजनों को शक्ति देने के लिए प्रार्थना की। हजारों समर्थक व क्षेत्र के लोग भारी संख्या में शामिल हुए थे।
