गिरिडीह में वैज्ञानिक डा. जेसी बोस की नवासी हुई सम्मानित, नाना की पावन धरा पर आकर धन्य हो गई : सुप्रिया रॉय

गिरिडीह : (कमलनयन) महान वैज्ञानिक सर जगदीशचंद्र बसु की नवासी सुप्रिया रॉय के गिरिडीह आगमन पर शनिवार को सरस्वती शिशु विद्या मंदिर, बरगंडा में सम्मान समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। विद्यालय की पूर्व सचिव रुचिका राजगढ़िया ने सुप्रिया राय को शॉल और प्रधानाचार्य शिव कुमार चौधरी ने पुष्पगुच्छ देकर गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। मौके पर विभाग टोली सदस्य रामरतन महर्षि एवं उपाध्यक्ष डॉ. सतीश्वर प्रसाद सिन्हा को अंग वस्त्र भेंट किया गया।

मातृभाषा को कभी ना भूलेंं…अपनी संस्कृति को जीवंत रखें : सुप्रिया रॉय

रुचिका ने कहा कि शिक्षाविद् राय को पाकर आज मैं अभिभूत हूं, क्योंकि वह मेरी शिक्षिका रही है। रामरतन महर्षि ने कहा कि रुचिका ने गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा को जीवंत रखा। हमारे शास्त्रों में मातृ-पितृ एवं आचार्य को देवतुल्य माना गया है। इन तीनों को अपने जीवन में कभी नहीं भूलना चाहिए। डॉ सिन्हा ने कहा कि सर जेसी बोस ने भारत को जो दिया, वह विज्ञान की अनुपम देन है। मौके पर सुप्रिया राय ने कहा कि नाना डा. बसु की पावन धरती में आकर मैं अपने आप को गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रही हूँ। मेरी नानी बहुत ही उदार महिला थी। मैं अंग्रेजी शिक्षिका रहते हुए भी अपनी भाषा से प्रेम रखती हूं। अंग्रेजी एक माध्यम है, लेकिन अपनी मातृभाषा को बच्चे कभी ना भूले एवं अपनी संस्कृति को जीवंत रखें, ऐसी अपेक्षा है।

सर जेसी बोस के शोध से जुड़े कई मॉडल यंत्रों के अलावा एक आयरन चेस्ट भी मौजूद है

गौरतलब है कि महान वैज्ञानिक सर जेसी बोस का गिरिडीह से मानवीय लगाव के अलावा कर्मस्थली रही है। वे महीनों गिरिडीह में रहकर शोध किया करते थे। पेड़-पौधों को घंटों निहारा करते थे। उन्होंने अपने जीवन के अंतिम समय भी गिरिडीह शहर के झंडा मैदान स्थित अपने घर शांति निवास में रहे और 23 नवम्बर 1937 को यहीं अंतिम सांस ली थी। उनके निधन के दशकों बाद सरकार ने शांति निवास का अधिग्रहण कर सर जेसी बोस जिला विज्ञान भवन सह संग्रहालय बनाया। संग्रहालय में सर जेसी बोस के शोध से जुडे कई मॉडल यंत्रों के अलावा एक आयरन चेस्ट भी मौजूद है।

आठ दशक बाद भी नहीं खुल सकी आयरन चेस्ट

तिजोरी पिछले 85-86 वर्षों से झारखंड के गिरिडीह स्थित उसी मकान में मौजूद है, जहां उन्होंने 23 नवंबर 1937 को आखिरी सांस ली थी। उनकी तिजोरी आज तक बंद है. हालांकि दो बार इसे खोलने को लेकर जिला प्रशासन के स्तर पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ। इसके लिए तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम को गिरिडीह आमंत्रित करने की योजना बनी, लेकिन किन्हीं कारणों से वो नहीं आ सके, तो तिजोरी अबतक नहीं खुल सकी है।

गिरिडीह विज्ञान भवन में मौजूद हैं कई ऐतिहासिक तस्वीरें

गिरिडीह विज्ञान भवन में डा. जगदीश चंद्र बोस की बाल्यावस्था, युवावस्था के साथ-साथ शोध और अनुसंधान के दौरान उनकी विभिन्न गतिविधियों से संबंधित तस्वीरें रखी गई हैं। इसके अलावा उनके माता-पिता सहित परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों और उनके दोस्तों की तस्वीरें भी यहां मौजूद हैं। तस्वीरें साक्षी है कि उनके निधन के बाद उनके अंतिम दर्शन को लेकर भारी भीड़ उमडी थी। उन्होंने कई पौधे भी लगाये थे। हाल के वर्षों में झंडा मैदान मोड़ पर सर बोस की प्रतिमा भी लगाई गई एंव बालिका उच्च विद्यालय का नामकरण सर बोस के नाम पर किया गया।
