गिरिडीह : अपर समाहर्ता विल्सन भेंगरा की अध्यक्षता में समाहरणालय सभागार में तम्बाकू नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम अंतर्गत जिला तम्बाकू नियंत्रण कोषांग और सोशियो इकोनॉमिक एण्ड एजुकेशनल डेवलपमेंट सोसाइटी (सीड्स) के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में मंगलवार को संवेदीकरण कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। अपर समाहर्ता श्री भेंगरा ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि तम्बाकू के सेवन से न सिर्फ सेहत पर इसका दुष्प्रभाव पड़ता है बल्कि आर्थिक नुकसान भी उठाना पड़ता है। तम्बाकू से परहेज कर जिंदगी के साथ-साथ आर्थिक नुकसान से भी बचा जा सकता है। उन्होंने तम्बाकू नियंत्रण के लिए छापामार दस्ते के सदस्यों को निर्देश दिया कि शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के 100 गज के दायरे में अवस्थित सभी तम्बाकू उत्पाद बेचने वाले दुकानदारों को हटवाते हुए नियमित रूप से छापामारी की कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाय। सभी अधिकारियों को तत्काल प्रभाव से अपने-अपने कार्यालयों में तम्बाकू मुक्त क्षेत्र का बोर्ड लगाने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस प्रकार कोविड-19 से लड़ रहे हैं उसी प्रकार हमें तंबाकू को समाप्त करने के लिए लड़ाई लड़नी होगी।

सीड्स के सीईओ ने कहा-तंबाकू नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम को अभियान में तब्दील करना होगा

तम्बाकू नियंत्रण के लिए राज्य सरकार की तकनीकी सहयोगी संस्था सोशियो इकोनॉमिक एण्ड एजुकेशनल डेवलपमेंट सोसाईटी (सीड्स) के कार्यपालक निदेशक दीपक मिश्रा ने राज्य सरकार एवं सीड्स द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से राज्य के सभी 24 जिलों में चलाए जा रहे तम्बाकू नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत COTPA-2003 की विभिन्न धाराओं के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। श्री मिश्रा ने मौजूद अधिकारियों को तंबाकू संबंधित उत्पादों पर रोक लगाने के लिए उठाए जानेवाले कदमों आदि के संबंध में विस्तार से जानकारी दी. श्री मिश्रा ने बताया कि तंबाकू सेवन करना एक खतरनाक आदत है, जहां छोटे-छोटे बच्चे हैं, वहां तो स्थिति और भी अधिक नाजुक बन जाती है। तंबाकू नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम को अभियान के रूप में चलाए जाने के काफी अच्छे परिणाम प्राप्त हो सकते हैं।

AC ने DEO को शैक्षणिक संस्थानों का निरीक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया

कार्यक्रम के दौरान अपर समाहर्ता ने जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी को नियमित रूप से जिले में स्थित शैक्षणिक संस्थानों का निरीक्षण करने एवं संस्थानों के 100 गज की दूरी तक किसी भी प्रकार के तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री ना होने देना सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया। इसके लिए उन्होंने जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी को नियमित रूप से विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के साथ बैठक करने एवं उचित दिशा-निर्देश देने का निर्देश दिया। बैठक के दौरान अपर समाहर्ता ने जिला जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी को अखबारों तथा सोशल मीडिया सहित अन्य माध्यमों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए तम्बाकू पदार्थो से होने वाले नुकसान के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने का निदेश दिया। बैठक सिविल सर्जन डॉ एस पी मिश्रा को तंबाकू नियंत्रण के तहत जिले में हो रहे कार्यों की नियमित रूप से समीक्षा करने एवं इससे संबंधित प्रतिवेदन नियमित रूप से जिला तम्बाकू नियंत्रण कोषांग को उपलब्ध कराने का निर्देश दिया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान अपर समाहर्ता ने सभी विभागों के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि वे अपने कार्यालयों में तंबाकू मुक्त संस्थान का साईनेज लगाना सुनिश्चित करें।

कार्यशाला में जिले के सभी प्रशासनिक पदाधिकारियों के अलावा पुलिस के अधिकारी भी उपस्थित हुए। अपर समाहर्ता ने सभी प्रतिभागियों को तम्बाकू सेवन नहीं करने की शपथ भी दिलवायी। कार्यशाला में सभी अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी, जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी, जिला जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी, पुलिस उपाधीक्षक मुख्यालय, तंबाकू नियंत्रण कोषांग के नोडल पदाधिकारी, जिला स्तरीय प्रशासनिक तथा पुलिस पदाधिकारी, सभी प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, सभी थाना प्रभारी, सीड्स के प्रतिनिधियों सहित अन्य उपस्थित थे।
