करोड़ों की योजनाओं के बावजूद ग्रामीणों की जिंदगी बदहाल, जनप्रतिनिधियों को बार-बार कराया गया अवगत, फिर भी सड़क बदहाल।

2025 में अखबारों और डिजिटल मीडिया में खबर प्रकाशित होने के बाद भी नहीं हुई कार्रवाई, हल्की बारिश में ही सड़क बनी कीचड़ का समंदर — ग्रामीणों ने पूछा, आखिर पंचायतों को मिले लाखों रुपये गए कहाँ?

गिरिडीह जिला के जमुआ प्रखंड क्षेत्र अंतर्गत बदडीहा-1 पंचायत के सलैया-सिकदारडीह-तुलसीडीह मुख्य मार्ग की स्थिति आज भी बद से बदतर बनी हुई है। वर्ष 2025 में 04 मई और 04 जुलाई को इस सड़क की बदहाली को लेकर दैनिक भास्कर सहित कई डिजिटल न्यूज़ मीडिया द्वारा प्रमुखता से खबर प्रकाशित कर जनप्रतिनिधियों और प्रशासन को अवगत कराया गया था। उस समय ग्रामीणों ने सड़क निर्माण की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन और प्रदर्शन तक किया था, लेकिन एक वर्ष बीत जाने के बाद भी स्थिति जस की तस बनी हुई है।
आज हालत यह है कि हल्की बारिश में ही सड़क पूरी तरह कीचड़ और दलदल में तब्दील हो गई है। पैदल चलना तक मुश्किल हो गया है। बाइक और साइकिल तो दूर, कई जगहों पर लोगों का पैदल निकलना भी खतरे से खाली नहीं है। सबसे ज्यादा परेशानी स्कूली बच्चों, मरीजों, गर्भवती महिलाओं और रोजमर्रा के काम से आने-जाने वाले ग्रामीणों को हो रही है।

ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि अभी तो बरसात की शुरुआत हुई है। अगर थोड़ी सी बारिश में सड़क की यह हालत है, तो पूरे मानसून में इस सड़क पर चलना नामुमकिन हो जाएगा। कई गांवों का संपर्क मुख्य मार्ग से कटने की स्थिति में पहुंच जाएगा।

स्थानीय लोगों ने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार हर वर्ष पंचायतों को विकास कार्यों के लिए लाखों रुपये देती है। वर्ष 2026 में भी झारखंड सरकार द्वारा प्रत्येक पंचायत को लगभग 51 लाख 80 हजार रुपये की राशि उपलब्ध कराई गई है। इस राशि का उपयोग गांवों में सड़क निर्माण, नाली, पेयजल, स्ट्रीट लाइट और पंचायत भवनों के रखरखाव जैसे बुनियादी विकास कार्यों के लिए किया जाना है।
लेकिन सवाल यह उठ रहा है कि जब सरकार विकास के नाम पर इतनी बड़ी राशि दे रही है, तो आखिर जमीन पर विकास क्यों नहीं दिख रहा? सलैया-सिकदारडीह-तुलसीडीह सड़क की हालत देखकर ग्रामीण पूछ रहे हैं कि आखिर ये पैसे गए कहाँ?
ग्रामीणों में प्रशासन और जनप्रतिनिधियों के खिलाफ भारी आक्रोश देखा जा रहा है। लोगों का कहना है कि सिर्फ आश्वासन और बयान से काम नहीं चलेगा। अगर जल्द सड़क निर्माण कार्य शुरू नहीं हुआ, तो ग्रामीण सड़क पर उतरकर बड़ा आंदोलन करेंगे। पंचायत कार्यालय में तालाबंदी से लेकर जनप्रतिनिधियों के विरोध तक की चेतावनी दी जा रही है।

ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि बरसात के इस मौसम को देखते हुए तत्काल सड़क की मरम्मत और स्थायी निर्माण कार्य शुरू कराया जाए, ताकि हजारों लोगों को राहत मिल सके।
ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि अगर वर्षों से उठ रही सड़क की समस्या का समाधान नहीं हुआ, तो इसका असर आने वाले चुनाव में भी देखने को मिल सकता है। लोगों में जनप्रतिनिधियों के प्रति नाराजगी लगातार बढ़ रही है। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि चुनाव के समय नेता गांवों में आकर बड़े-बड़े वादे करते हैं, लेकिन चुनाव खत्म होने के बाद जनता की मूल समस्याएं पीछे छूट जाती हैं। ऐसे में आने वाले चुनाव में जनप्रतिनिधियों को गांव की जनता के सवालों का जवाब देना पड़ सकता है। ग्रामीणों ने साफ कहा कि सड़क, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और बुनियादी सुविधाओं की अनदेखी जारी रही तो इसका राजनीतिक नुकसान भी उठाना पड़ सकता है। “पहले सड़क और विकास का जवाब, फिर वोट पर विचार” जैसी बातें अब गांव में खुलकर सुनाई देने लगी हैं।
