सीएम हेमंत सोरेन ने राष्ट्रपति को लिखा पत्र, कहा-मणिपुर में आदिवासी कुकियों के साथ ‘बर्बर तरीके’ के व्यवहार के बावजूद केंद्र गंभीर नहीं, डबल इंजन सरकारों का घिनौना चेहरा देश ने देखा

रांची : झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने शनिवार को राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को पत्र लिखकर हिंसा प्रभावित मणिपुर में महिलाओं के खिलाफ ‘अकथनीय अत्याचार’ पर दुख व्यक्त किया और उनसे पूर्वोत्तर राज्य में शांति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कदम उठाने का आग्रह किया। मणिपुर में महिलाओं को निर्वस्त्र कर घुमाने का वीडियो सामने आने के कुछ दिन बाद सोरेन ने पत्र में कहा कि देश मणिपुर में आदिवासियों के साथ ‘बर्बर तरीके’ का व्यवहार नहीं होने दे सकता। सोरेन ने पत्र में कहा कि दो दिन पहले सोशल मीडिया पर मणिपुर से महिलाओं पर अकथनीय बर्बरता दिखाने वाले एक वीडियो ने हम सभी को गहराई से झकझोर दिया है। मणिपुर में तीन मई से इंफाल घाटी में केंद्रित बहुसंख्यक मेइती समुदाय और पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में रहनेवाले आदिवासी कुकी के बीच जातीय झड़पें हो रही हैं। दोनों समुदायों के बीच हिंसा में अब तक 160 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे संविधान द्वारा गारंटी प्रदत्त मानव जीवन और गरिमा के सिद्धांत पूरी तरह से तार-तार होते प्रतीत होते हैं।

‘मणिपुर हिंसा…क्रूरता के सामने चुप्पी एक भयानक अपराध’

सीएम सोरेन ने कहा कि क्रूरता के सामने चुप्पी एक भयानक अपराध है, इसलिए मैं आज मणिपुर में हिंसा पर भारी मन और गहरी पीड़ा के साथ आपको पत्र लिखने के लिए मजबूर हूं…मैं मणिपुर के बिगड़ते हालात, महिलाओं के खिलाफ अकथनीय अत्याचार और यौन शोषण को लेकर बहुत व्यथित और चिंतित हूं। सोरेन ने पत्र में कहा कि मणिपुर दो महीने से जल रहा है, दिल दहला देने वाले वीडियो सामने आ रहे हैं और पूर्वोत्तर राज्य में लोकतांत्रिक शासन व्यवस्था में अभूतपूर्व गिरावट आई है। सीएम ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मुद्दे को दरकिनार करने, मीडिया की आवाज को दबाने का हताशापूर्ण प्रयास किया जा रहा है। कहा कि मणिपुर और भारत के सामने आनेवाले संकट के इस सबसे कठिन समय में हम आपको आशा और प्रेरणा के अंतिम स्रोत के रूप में देखते हैं जो इस कठिन समय में मणिपुर के लोगों और भारत के सभी नागरिकों को रोशनी दिखा सकते हैं। सोरेन ने कहा कि एक समाज को कभी भी उस बिंदु तक नहीं पहुंचना चाहिए जहां लोगों को उस तरह की शारीरिक, भावनात्मक और मनोवैज्ञानिक क्रूरता का सामना करना पड़े, जो मणिपुर में सामने आई है।
