गिरिडीह : जिले के उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने डुमरी प्रखंड के मदगोपाली पंचायत में घर-घर जाकर मतदाता सूची के पन्नों का सत्यापन किया। इस दौरान डीसी ने हाउस टू हाउस लगातार 5 घरों के मतदाताओं का भौतिक सत्यापन किया और मतदाता जागरूकता से संबंधित जानकारी दी।
डीसी ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया
निरीक्षण के क्रम में डीसी ने परमदगोपाली पंचायत स्थित नगलो आहार पहुंच कर फलदार और छायादार वृक्षों के पौधे लगाए तथा पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया।
पौधरोपण के लिए जागरूक भी किया
डीसी ने कहा कि शुद्ध वायु और शुद्ध जल आनेवाली पीढियों का मौलिक अधिकार है। ये तभी संभव है, जब हम पर्यावरण का संरक्षण करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस समय बरसात का मौसम है। इस समय हमें पेड़ लगाने चाहिए। सरकार भी मुहिम चला रही है कि स्कूल, कॉलेज व खाली पड़ी जमीनों पर जितना हो सके पौधे लगाए जाएं। ताकि आनेवाली पीढ़ी को ऑक्सीजन की कमी न हो। उन्होंने क्षेत्र के लोगों को भी पौधे लगाने के प्रति जागरूक किया और कहा कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा पौधे लगाने चाहिए।
जल जीवन मिशन के तहत संचालित प्रचार वाहन का निरीक्षण किया
इसके अतिरिक्त डीसी ने जल जीवन मिशन के तहत संचालित प्रचार वाहन का निरीक्षण कर वस्तुस्थिति का जायजा लिया और आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिया। इस दौरान डीसी ने जल संरक्षण व जल की महत्ता के बारे में आमजनों को जानकारी दी और इसके संरक्षण पर बल दिया। उपायुक्त ने कहा जल संरक्षण अवश्य करें ताकि हमारे आनेवाली पीढ़ी को शुद्ध जल मिल सकें।
