गुमला – गुमला सदर थाना स्थित टोटाम्बी ग्राम के समक्ष मंगलवार देर संध्या लगभग 7, 30 बजे, स्कूटी चालक कार्तिक उरांव ने एक पेड़ में मारी जोरदार टक्कर फलस्वरुप घटनास्थल पर ही हुई दर्दनाक मौत,
स्कूटी के पीछे बैठीं 14 वर्षीय नाबालिक मोनिका कुमारी गंभीर रूप से घायल। दुर्घटना की सूचना मिलते ही घाघरा थाना पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुयें , घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर घायल मोनिका कुमारी को गुमला सदर अस्पताल पहुंचाया घाघरा थाना स्थित भूखाटोली ग्राम निवासी मृतक कार्तिक उरांव के शव को घाघरा थाना पुलिस ने अपने कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम हेतु गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भेजवाया।
गंभीर रूप से घायल मोनिका कुमारी ने बताया की हम और मेरे जीजा कार्तिक उरांव घाघरा थाना स्थित नावनी ग्राम के एक शीदी समारोह में भाग लेकर एक स्कूटी में सवार होकर वापस घर आ रहें थे। मेरे जीजा शादी समारोह में शाराब का सेवन कर तेज रफ्तार से स्कूटी चला रहे थे। मेरे द्वारा बार बार मना करने के बावजूद भी वह स्कूटी तेज रफ्तार से ही चलते आ रहे थे। अंततः उन्होंने अनियंत्रित और तेज रफ्तार से स्कूटी चलाते हुए टोटाम्बी ग्राम के पास सड़क किनारे स्थित एक पेड़ में जोरदार टक्कर मार दी , फलस्वरुप उक्त घटनास्थल पर ही मेरे जीजा कार्तिक उरांव की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। मैं गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गयी।
मेरे जीजा कों 108 एंबुलेंस द्वारा गुमला सदर अस्पताल लाया गया , जहां डॉक्टरों के देखरेख में मेरा इलाज चल रहा हैं। आज बुधवार को कार्तिक उरांव के उक्त शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराकर उक्त शव को उसके परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया हैं।
