“मतदान दिवस के दिन मतदाताओं की कतार का प्रबंधन करने, दिव्यांग / वरिष्ठ मतदाताओं को सहायता आदि करने के लिए मतदान केन्द्रों पर Volunteers की तैनाती करने के संबंध में हुई समीक्षात्मक बैठक”

गुमला: लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 के निमित आज बुधवार को जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त गुमला कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अध्यक्षता में मतदान दिवस के दिन मतदाताओं की कतार का प्रबंधन करने, दिव्यांग / वरिष्ठ मतदाताओं को सहायता आदि करने के लिए मतदान केन्द्रों पर Volunteers की तैनाती करने से संबंधित एक विशेष समीक्षात्मक बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें जिला उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी , शिक्षा अधीक्षक सहित जिले के संबंधित विद्यालयों / कॉलेजों के प्रधानाचार्य/ शिक्षक सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी मौजूद रहें।

जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी ने कहा कि बॉलेंटियर्स की नियुक्ति करने हेतु मुख्य बिंदुओं पर ध्यान रखा जाना चाहिए । उन्होंने कहा कि NCC/NSS/Scouts and Guides Members of ELC for future voters से प्रत्येक मतदान केन्द्र, जहाँ 400 या 400 से कम मतदाता हैं, वहाँ 2 (दो) एवं जिस मतदान केन्द्र पर 400 से अधिक मतदाता हैं, वहाँ 4 (चार) Volunteers की तैनाती/नियुक्ति वर्दी में लेकिन बिना शस्त्र के किया जाना है

वोलेंटियर्स की आयु 14 वर्ष से अधिक और 18 वर्ष से कम होनी चाहिए अर्थात वोलेंटियर्स को मतदाता नहीं होना चाहिए।

वोलेंटियर्स मतदान केन्द्रों पर कतार के प्रबंधन, दिव्यांग वरिष्ठ एवं शारीरिक रूप से अक्षम मतदाताओं एवं Help desk पर BLO की सहायता करेंगे। लॉजिस्टिक समस्याओं से बचने के लिए वोलेंटियर्स को उसी मतदान केन्द्र या निकट संस्थान का छात्र होना चाहिए, जहाँ उनकी तैनाती की गई है। वोलेंटियर्स मतदान केन्द्र पर BLO की देख-रेख में कार्य करेंगे।

उन्होंने कहा कि वोलेंटियर्स मतदान केन्द्र पर उपलब्ध व्हीलचेयर के इंचार्ज रहेंगे एवं वे दिव्यांग वरिष्ठ मतदाताओं को मतदान केन्द्र के प्रवेश द्वार तक मार्गदर्शन /सहयोग करेंगे। मतदान केन्द्र के अंदर ऐसे मतदाताओं को मतदान कर्मियों द्वारा सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।

जिला स्तर से प्रत्येक Volunteers को फोटो पहचान पत्र उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा, जो प्रत्येक वोलेंटियर्स को अपने साथ मतदान दिवस के दिन संबंधित मतदान केन्द्र पर लाना होगा।

NCC/NSS/Scouts and Guides/ ELC for future voters से Programme Offion/ Nodal officer या अन्य सक्षम पदाधिकारी के द्वारा Volunteers को मतदान दिवस के दिन उनके द्वारा किये जाने वाले कार्यों एवं दायित्वों के संबंध में अवगत करवाया जाएगा।

मतदान केन्द्रों पर वोलेंटियर्स की तैनाती एवं उनकी भूमिका के संबंध में सेक्टर पदाधिकारी/पीठासीन पदाधिकारी/बी०एल०ओ० एवं पुलिस कर्मियों को अवगत कराया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जीलास्तरीय नोडल पदाधिकारी (कार्मिक कोषांग) वोलेंटेयर्स की मतदान केन्द्र पर तैनाची संबंधी गतिविधियों का समन्वय करेंगे।

इसके अलावा उपायुक्त ने कहा की मतदान के कार्य में जुड़े वोलेंटियर्स को चुनाव के पश्चात प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया जाएगा ।
उपायुक्त ने उक्त सभी निर्देशों का अनुपालन करने को कहा।
