In the recent episodes, the story took a major turn as Raja Dashrath, a descendant of Harishchandra, discovers that his ancestors faced numerous challenges due to Shanidev’s influence. His kingdom suffered from droughts and other difficulties as a result. Determined to confront Shani, Dashrath declares war against him. However, when Shani does not retaliate and instead takes away Dashrath’s weapons, Dashrath realizes Shani’s greatness. He then composes Shani Stuti praising Shani’s virtues. Impressed by Dashrath’s humility and admiration, Shani grants him a boon: anyone who recites Dashrath’s created Shani Stuti will be blessed during their period of Shani’s influence, known as Sadesati.
