पुलिस ने बीती रात 250 किलो गांजा के साथ एक वाहन जब्त किया

गुमला : गुमला जिले के घाघरा पुलिस ने रविवार की रात को करीब 250 किलो गांजा के साथ एक वाहन जब्त किया है। हालांकि, अंधेरे का फायदा उठाकर वाहन का चालक और उसमें सवार गांजा तस्कर वाहन और गांजा छोड़कर फरार हो गए।

जानकारी के अनुसार, गम्हरिया के पास रविवार शाम को पुलिस वाहन जांच कर रही थी। इस दौरान एक वाहन पुलिस को देख बिना रुके फरार हो गया। दूसरा वाहन, जिसमें गांजा लदा हुआ था, गम्हरिया ग्राम से घाघरा की ओर भागने लगा और अंततः गम्हरिया बस्ती के अंदर पहुँचकर वाहन को लॉक कर तस्कर अंधेरे का फायदा उठाकर फरार हो गए। ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि तस्करों ने कुछ दूर भागने के बाद अपने कपड़े बदलकर फरार होने का प्रयास किया।

घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर पुलिस ने वाहन की जांच की तो उसमें भारी मात्रा में गांजा मिला। गांजा की मात्रा लगभग 250 किलो बताई जा रही है। पुलिस ने वाहन और गांजा जब्त कर थाना ले आई है।

इस पूरे मामले में थानेदार तरुण कुमार ने कहा कि फिलहाल मामले की जांच चल रही है और जल्द ही पूरी जानकारी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से साझा की जाएगी।
