गुमला – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित कामडारा प्रखंड के कुरकुरा थाना क्षेत्रांतर्गत इचागुटू गांव की युवती सोनी कुमारी ने कीटनाशक दवा खा ली थी जिसका इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई इस घटना के संबंध में मृतक सोनी कुमारी का चचेरा भाई ने थाना में फर्द बयान में बताया है कि फोन के माध्यम से बड़ी माँ रोहिनी देवी सूचना दिया गया कि सोनी कुमारी का तवियत खराब है। सूचना पाकर मैं वहाँ पहुंचा तो देखा कि सोनी कुमारी अपने घर में बिस्तर पर लेटी थी तथा कुछ ही देर बाद उल्टी हुआ।
उल्टी होने के बाद कीटनाशक दवा का गंध आ रहा था। तब उससे पुछने पर वह बताई कि कीटनाशक दवा. खा ली है। इसके तुरंत बाद हम सभी सोनी कुमारी का ईलाज हेतु बसिया रेफरल अस्पताना लेकर गए और प्राथमिक कराये। बसिया रेफरल अस्पताल में प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद सदर अस्पताल गुमला रेफर कर दिया गया और सदर अस्पताल, गुमला लाने के क्रम मेही सोनी कुमारी की मृत्यु हो गई।
