विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस के अवसर पर सदर अस्पताल गुमला में आयोजित हुआ महा रक्तदान शिविर

गुमला : आज शुक्रवार को विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस के अवसर पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा सदर अस्पताल गुमला में एक विशेष रक्तदान महाशिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस शिविर में जिले के विभिन्न संस्थानों को भी आमंत्रित किया गया था, जिनमें मारवाड़ी युवा मंच, प्रभात खबर, माहेश्वरी युवा संगठन आदि ने भी सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई।

इस जिला स्तरीय रक्तदान शिविर में उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने भी रक्तदान करते हुए आम नागरिकों को प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि रक्तदान एक महादान है और जिलेवासियों को इस महादान में अवश्य भाग लेना चाहिए। उपायुक्त ने सभी रक्तदाताओं के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि रक्तदान न केवल एक महादान है, बल्कि इससे स्वयं के शरीर को कई गंभीर बीमारियों से बचाने का भी एक बेहतर उपाय है।

उन्होंने नए रक्तदाताओं को आश्वस्त किया कि रक्तदान से शरीर में कमजोरी नहीं आती, बल्कि ऊर्जा और संतोष मिलता है। उन्होंने अपील की कि सभी 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के व्यक्ति रक्तदान करें और इस महादान से किसी जरूरतमंद की जान बचाने में सहयोग करें।

इस अवसर पर सिविल सर्जन गुमला राजू कच्छप ने भी रक्तदान के सकारात्मक पहलुओं को सभी के सामने रखा। उन्होंने कहा कि “आप रक्तदान करें, हमारे डॉक्टर्स की टीम जीवन दान करेगी।” उन्होंने बताया कि अस्पताल में मरीजों को इलाज के लिए खून की आवश्यकता होती है और आपके रक्तदान से मरीजों को जीवन दान मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि रक्तदान करने वाले वास्तव में जीवनदाता होते हैं।

सिविल सर्जन ने बताया कि जिनकी आयु 18 वर्ष हो चुकी है, वजन 45 किलोग्राम से अधिक है, और हिमोग्लोबिन 12.5 से अधिक है, वे रक्तदान कर सकते हैं। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति हर 3 महीने में एक बार रक्तदान कर सकता है। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि रक्तदान करने से शरीर में नए ब्लड सेल्स बनते हैं, जिससे कई गंभीर बीमारियों का खतरा कम हो जाता है।

आज पूर्वाह्न 10 बजे से संध्या 5 बजे तक आयोजित इस रक्तदान शिविर के माध्यम से 45 यूनिट ब्लड संग्रह किया गया। शिविर में आम नागरिकों सहित जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारियों, कर्मियों और जिले के पुलिस अधिकारियों ने भी रक्तदान किया।

इस दौरान डी.एस.पी. वीरेंद्र टोप्पो और एस.डी.पी.ओ. चैनपुर अमिता लकड़ा ने भी रक्तदान किया और आम नागरिकों से रक्तदान करने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा, “हमने महादान किया, आप भी इस महादान अभियान से जुड़ें और मरीजों की जान बचाने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त करें। रक्तदान से बड़ा कोई दान नहीं।”

कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन में मुख्य रूप से सिविल सर्जन गुमला, अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, अस्पताल प्रबंधक, विभिन्न संस्थाओं के प्रतिनिधि और स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारियों और कर्मियों की मुख्य भूमिका रही।
