Indian cricket team’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has announced his retirement from the T20 World Cup. Following in the footsteps of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Jadeja has been a key player for the team. His announcement has surprised both the cricketing world and his fans.
Announcing his retirement, Ravindra Jadeja said, “This is an emotional moment, but I feel it is the right time to bid farewell to this format. I will always be grateful to my fans who supported me throughout this journey.”
Jadeja also shared a special message for his fans: “Thank you to everyone who supported me at every step. This journey would have been incomplete without you.”
Following his announcement, there is a mix of sadness and surprise within the cricket community. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also respected Jadeja’s decision and appreciated his contributions. The BCCI president remarked, “Jadeja’s performance and dedication to the team will always be remembered. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.”
