Hemant Soren sworn in as chief minister. The oath ceremony took place in the Birsa Pavilion of Raj Bhavan. Hemant Soren is becoming the Chief Minister for the second time during the tenure of the current government. At the oath ceremony of Hemant Soren, his father Shibu Soren and mother Rupi Soren were also present.
Let us tell you that today itself Hemant Soren received the invitation to form the government from Raj Bhavan. After which it was decided in the meeting of the legislature party at the CM residence that Hemant Soren will take oath today itself. Earlier there was discussion that Hemant Soren will take oath on 7th July.
Champai Soren had resigned on Wednesday
Let us tell you that an important meeting of MLAs of India Alliance was called on Wednesday. Hemant Soren was elected the leader of the legislature party in the meeting. After this, Champai Soren reached Raj Bhavan in the evening and resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
Champai Soren, Hemant Soren, Congress state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Rajesh Thakur, Pradeep Yadav, Satyanand Bhokta, Kalpana Soren were present in the evening. During this time, Hemant Soren staked claim to form the government. Hemant Soren came out of jail on bail on June 28 in the alleged land scam case. With Hemant coming out of jail, there was a rapid change in the politics of Jharkhand.
