The acting debut of Junaid Khan was in the Netflix appearance of Maharaj. Nevertheless, at first, he was supposed to portray Laal Singh Chaddha.

“I had auditioned for Laal Singh Chaddha, which Papa has talked about publicly, but it didn’t work out,” Junaid stated in an interview. Papa Aamir Khan was insistent that I make the movie.

Junaid had auditioned for Aamir Khan’s role, the Maharaj director Siddharth P Malhotra later disclosed. It is interesting to note that he was cast in Maharaj thanks to the same audition tape. Adi (Aditya Chopra) and I witnessed this audition, and wow, what an audition! It was excellent, and it would be wonderful if that clip could ever be made public.

The Hindi version of the 1994 Hollywood picture Forrest Gump was called Laal Singh Chaddha. In addition to Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh were also featured in the movie. Weeks before its premiere, the movie was the target of numerous boycott requests and did poorly at the box office.

Meanwhile, Siddharth P. Malhotra is the director of Maharaj, which is based on the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862. Along with Sharvari and Jaideep Ahlawat, Junaid plays journalist and reformer Karsandas Mulji in the film.

Advait Chandan, the director of Junaid’s upcoming film featuring Khushi Kapoor, is getting everything ready. Claimed to be a romantic comedy, it is a remake of the popular Tamil movie Love Today.

Karsandas faces libel action from Maharaj Jadunathji after he publishes an expose on the Pushtimarga cult. The movie is based on a true story of a libel case that occurred in 1862, and the characters Karsandas Mulji and Maharaj Jadunathji are genuine individuals.
The narrative primarily centres on the prelude to the confrontation between Jadunath Maharaj (Jaideep Ahlawat), a religious leader and social reformer from Gujarat who rapes and sexually abuses his female followers in the name of “Charan Seva,” and Karsandas Mulji (Junaid Khan).
