The Meteorological Department has said that widespread impact of monsoon will be seen in Ranchi and surrounding areas. It rained heavily in Ranchi on Friday. The weather center has said that Kolhan and adjacent parts of central Jharkhand will be affected by monsoon on Saturday. Ranchi, Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum as well as Seraikela-Kharsawan district may receive heavy rain at isolated places. The weather center has issued a yellow alert in this regard.
Monsoon will remain weak for four days
The effect of monsoon will be slightly less from 14 to 18 July. During this period, it is expected that there will be light to moderate rainfall at many places in the state. After the rain, the maximum temperature of other districts including the capital will also fall. The maximum temperature of the capital is expected to be below 30 degrees centigrade on July 14. Due to rain since last 2-3 days, people in Jharkhand have got relief from the heat.

The maximum temperature of Palamu and Garhwa districts is also around 35-36 degrees centigrade. On Friday, the maximum temperature of Jamshedpur and Daltenganj was around 35 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in the capital Ranchi was 33 degrees. The maximum temperature in Seraikela was 36 degrees. Hariharganj in Palamu received more than 155 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. There was 113 mm rainfall in Godda, 106 mm rainfall in Rajmahal and more than 100 mm rainfall in Pathragama.
