Assistant policemen will end the movement, consensus reached in talks with MLAs on these points

The assistant policemen, who have been on strike for 22 days, will end their strike. The meeting of MLAs with police personnel was successful. During the talks that lasted for 6 hours, it was agreed upon to increase the honorarium by 30 percent.

With this, it has been agreed upon to extend the period for one year. There has also been agreement on reservation for reinstatement of Home Guards and Forest Guards. On behalf of the MLAs, it has been said that a proposal regarding this will be brought in the cabinet.

Let us tell you that former minister and MLA from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Mathura Mahato, MLA Sudivya Kumar, Sukhram Oraon, Congress MLA Rajesh Kachhap, Naman Viksal Kongari and CPI Male MLA Vinod Kumar Singh were involved in the talks with assistant policemen.

Consensus reached on these points

• Agreed on 30 percent increase in honorarium.
• Agreement reached on extension of period of 1 year
• Consensus on reservation in reinstatement of Home Guards and Forest Guards
• Leave will be given on the lines of constable
• Like a constable, assistant policemen will get an annual allowance of Rs 4,000.
