Santosh Gangwar Sworn in as Jharkhand’s 12th Governor, Commits to State Welfare

Santosh Kumar Gangwar has officially become the 12th Governor of Jharkhand, taking office during a ceremony at Raj Bhavan’s Birsa Mandap. The oath was administered by Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice S.N. Prasad.

Gangwar, a veteran politician and former Union Minister, has promised to fulfill his duties with dedication, focusing on the state’s welfare.

The ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato, and various ministers and high-ranking officials. The event also saw the departure of the former Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, who has been appointed as the new Governor of Maharashtra​.
