Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in Lok Sabha today, ‘We do not make reels, we work hard’. He was responding to the statement of Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi in which he had said that. BJP ministers do not take moral responsibility for their failures. In the last 2 months, 4 goods trains derailed, 14 people died and many were injured but despite this the Railway Minister did not take any moral responsibility. In response to this, the Railway Minister further said, “We are not the people who make reels and show them like you, we work hard.”
What else did the Railway Minister say?
The Railway Minister said, “The average working and rest time of loco pilots is decided by a rule made in 2005. In 2016, the rules were amended and more facilities were given to loco pilots. All running rooms-558 were made air-conditioned. Loco cabs vibrate a lot, and hence more than 7,000 loco cabs are air-conditioned. This was a void for the people who show sympathy by making reels.”
What has the Congress MP said?
It is noteworthy that Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi targeted the Railway Minister for rail accidents.
Gogoi said, “BJP ministers are proud of their failures they do not take moral responsibility for their failure. In last 2 months 4 goods trains derail in Uttar Pradesh, 14 people killed and many were injured but despite this the Railway Minister did not take any moral responsibility and tried to threaten the opposition. Last year in Balasore
about 300 people were killed. In last 1-2 years
the number of accidents has increased but Railway Minister is busy making reels, he is not a Railway Minister but a ‘Reel Minister’,he is the ‘Derailment Minister’, who is responsible for the accidents that are happening.On this basis he should resign.” Congress leader further said that it is the tradition of BJP that no one does not take responsibility.
