The bail petition related to former minister Alamgir Alam in the Tender Commission case was to be heard today but the hearing was postponed due to the lawyers not attending the judicial work. The petition will now be heard in the special court of PMLA on August 7.
The arguments will be completed in the court on behalf of Alamgir Alam. A partial hearing in this case took place on July 27. By filing a petition on July 18, Alamgir Alam had requested the court for bail.
Let us tell you that on May 15, ED had arrested Alamgir Alam. Before the arrest, ED had issued summons and called him in the ED office. The interrogation took place for two days. On July 4, ED had filed a charge sheet against former minister Alamgir Alam’s deputy secretary Sanjeev Lal and Jahangir Alam.
