Position: Ship Broker
As a Ship Broker at Interbulk, you will be a key player in our team, responsible for negotiating the hire, sale, and purchase of vessels on behalf of ship owners and charterers. This role requires a strong understanding of the shipping market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
- Negotiate chartering contracts and ensure terms align with client needs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to provide accurate advice to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, charterers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth execution of agreements, coordinating closely with clients and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ship broking or a related field within the shipping industry.
- Strong network within the industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A keen understanding of market dynamics and global trade.
Position: Post Fixture
The Post Fixture role is crucial for the operational efficiency of our services. As part of the post-fixture team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met post-negotiation, handling any issues that arise, and ensuring a smooth follow-through of the chartering process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the execution of contracts and ensure all parties meet their obligations.
- Handle post-fixture issues such as laytime calculations, demurrage claims, and other contractual disputes.
- Coordinate with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to resolve any operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of all activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in post fixture operations within the shipping industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle complex contracts.
