CM Hemant Soren Directs Immediate Resolution of Technical Issues in JMMSY

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed senior officials to address the technical problems in the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana (JMMSY) urgently. He emphasized the need for quick resolution to ensure beneficiaries do not face difficulties.

Meeting with Senior Officials

A meeting was held with senior officials, including deputy commissioners and CSC representatives, to discuss the ongoing issues in JMMSY. The CM stressed the importance of resolving server downtimes and other technical glitches that are causing inconvenience to beneficiaries.

Issues in Special Camps

Beneficiaries attending special camps for JMMSY are experiencing difficulties due to technical problems. Many women have gathered at these camps but are unable to apply due to portal issues. The CM has taken these complaints seriously and extended the application deadline to August 15.

Beneficiaries’ Frustration

From August 3, special camps in Jharkhand have faced numerous complaints. In Garhwa district’s Bargarh block, beneficiaries have been waiting all day at the Panchayat Secretariat due to slow server issues, resulting in fewer applications being processed.

Extension of Application Deadline

Block Development Officer Amit Kumar Paswan stated that server issues have hindered the online registration process. The state government has extended the application deadline to August 15 to accommodate the delays. Registration will continue at Pragya Kendras even after the special camp deadline.

Technical Glitches Worsen Situation

In Dhurki block, server downtimes have severely impacted the JMMSY application process. Women from villages are leaving their farming work to apply at Panchayat Secretariats but face long waits due to network problems. In three days, fewer than 100 applications have been processed in the block.
