अंतर-जिला बाइक चोर गिरोह का पर्दाफाश: 5 गिरफ्तार, 6 चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद

गुमला – गुमला पुलिस ने अंतर-जिला बाइक चोर गिरोह का पर्दाफाश करते हुए गिरोह के पांच सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया है। इस कार्रवाई में छह चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद की गईं, जिन्हें फर्जी दस्तावेजों के जरिए ओएलएक्स (OLX) पर बेचने की योजना थी।

पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह के निर्देश पर यह कार्रवाई की गई। एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने गुरुवार को प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में मामले की विस्तृत जानकारी साझा की। उन्होंने बताया कि चोरी की गई मोटरसाइकिलों का इस्तेमाल रांची, लोहरदगा और गुमला में होता था।

गिरोह की गतिविधियां और गिरफ्तारी

1. गुप्त सूचना पर छापेमारी
गुमला पुलिस को 20 नवंबर 2024 को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि शांति नगर स्थित एक घर में चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलें छिपाई गई हैं। सूचना के आधार पर एक छापेमारी टीम का गठन किया गया।

टीम ने शांति नगर में छापा मारकर महात्मा उरांव और उनके सहयोगी नितेश उरांव को गिरफ्तार किया। पूछताछ में उन्होंने बताया कि उनके पास चोरी की तीन मोटरसाइकिल हैं, जिनका रजिस्ट्रेशन कार्ड सूरज कुमार के माध्यम से फर्जी तरीके से तैयार किया गया था।

2. अन्य आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी
महात्मा उरांव ने पूछताछ के दौरान लोहरदगा निवासी अभय उरांव और मुकेश उरांव का नाम उजागर किया। पुलिस ने इन्हें भी गिरफ्तार कर उनके पास से तीन अन्य मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद कीं।

चोरी और फर्जी दस्तावेजों का जाल

1. असली नंबर प्लेट की जगह नकली नंबर
गिरोह असली नंबर प्लेट को हटाकर चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलों पर मोबाइल से सर्च किए गए नंबर लगा देता था।

2. फर्जी रजिस्ट्रेशन कार्ड
चोरी की गई गाड़ियों का इंजन और चेसिस नंबर बदलकर फर्जी रजिस्ट्रेशन कार्ड तैयार किए जाते थे। इन दस्तावेजों को इतना सटीक बनाया जाता था कि सामान्य तौर पर खरीदार को कोई संदेह नहीं होता था।

3. ओएलएक्स पर बिक्री
गिरोह चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलों को ओएलएक्स जैसे ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म पर बेच देता था। इस तरीके से वे चोरी की गाड़ियों को कानूनी रूप देने का प्रयास करते थे।

बरामदगी और गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की जानकारी

गुमला पुलिस ने गिरोह के पांच सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायालय में पेश किया। इनके नाम और निवास स्थान इस प्रकार हैं:

गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर गुमला पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई ने अंतर-जिला गिरोह को पकड़ने में सफलता दिलाई। चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलें अब वापस उनके मालिकों तक पहुंचाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है।

2. फर्जीवाड़े पर कड़ी निगरानी की जरूरत
ओएलएक्स जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म पर गाड़ियों की बिक्री के मामलों में फर्जीवाड़ा बढ़ रहा है। पुलिस और नागरिकों को सतर्क रहने की आवश्यकता है।

जनता और खरीदारों के लिए चेतावनी

1. दस्तावेजों की जांच करें
मोटरसाइकिल खरीदते समय रजिस्ट्रेशन कार्ड, इंजन और चेसिस नंबर की जांच करें। यदि संभव हो तो स्थानीय परिवहन विभाग में जाकर दस्तावेजों की सत्यता सुनिश्चित करें।

2. ऑनलाइन खरीदारी में सतर्कता
ओएलएक्स और अन्य ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म पर गाड़ियों की खरीदारी करते समय धोखाधड़ी से बचने के लिए सतर्क रहें। सस्ते दामों पर मिलने वाली गाड़ियों के दस्तावेज गहराई से जांचें।

गुमला पुलिस द्वारा अंतर-जिला बाइक चोर गिरोह का पर्दाफाश एक सराहनीय कार्रवाई है। यह घटना दर्शाती है कि कैसे आधुनिक तकनीक और पारंपरिक पुलिसिंग के माध्यम से अपराधियों को पकड़ा जा सकता है।
