चार जंगली हाथियों ने किसान के धान को किया नष्ट, मुआवजे की मांग

गुमला जिले के परमवीर अल्बर्ट एक्का जारी प्रखंड के श्रीनगर गांव में एक दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटना सामने आई है। चार जंगली हाथियों ने किसान विकास टोप्पो की मेहनत से उगाई गई धान की फसल को नष्ट कर दिया। इस घटना ने न केवल किसान के परिवार को आर्थिक संकट में डाल दिया है, बल्कि वन विभाग से मुआवजे की मांग को भी जन्म दिया है।

किसान की मेहनत पर पानी फिरा

श्रीनगर गांव निवासी विकास टोप्पो के खेत में लगभग दो एकड़ में धान की फसल लगी थी, जिसे वे जल्द ही काटने वाले थे। सोमवार रात को जंगल से आए चार जंगली हाथियों ने उनकी फसल खा ली और शेष को रौंदकर पूरी तरह बर्बाद कर दिया। पीड़ित किसान ने बताया, “सालभर के खाने का अन्न चला गया। अब परिवार का पालन-पोषण कैसे होगा, यह सोचकर चिंता हो रही है।”

यह पहली बार नहीं है जब इस क्षेत्र में जंगली हाथियों ने नुकसान पहुंचाया है। खम्हन जंगल के आसपास बसे गांवों में हाथियों का आतंक लगातार बढ़ रहा है।

वन विभाग से मुआवजे की मांग

मंगलवार को सुबह 11 बजे विकास टोप्पो समेत अन्य किसानों ने वन विभाग के अधिकारियों से मुआवजे की मांग की। किसानों का कहना है कि जंगली हाथियों के आतंक से न केवल उनकी फसल बर्बाद हो रही है, बल्कि उनके परिवार की जीविका भी प्रभावित हो रही है।

वन विभाग के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए योजनाएं बनाई जा रही हैं। अधिकारियों ने यह भी कहा कि प्रभावित किसानों को उचित मुआवजा दिया जाएगा।

जंगली हाथियों का आतंक: कौन है जिम्मेदार?

विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, जंगली हाथियों का गांवों की ओर बढ़ना उनके प्राकृतिक आवास के सिकुड़ने और भोजन की कमी के कारण हो रहा है।

जंगलों की कटाई: मानव गतिविधियों के कारण जंगल लगातार छोटे हो रहे हैं।

खाद्य संकट: जंगलों में खाद्य संसाधनों की कमी के कारण जंगली जानवर गांवों का रुख कर रहे हैं।

वन्यजीव संरक्षण में कमी: जंगलों में वन्यजीवों की सुरक्षा के लिए पर्याप्त उपाय नहीं किए जा रहे।

समस्या का समाधान कैसे हो?

इस समस्या से निपटने के लिए कुछ प्रभावी कदम उठाए जा सकते हैं:

1. जंगलों का संरक्षण: वनों की कटाई रोककर और नए पेड़ लगाकर वन क्षेत्र को बढ़ाया जाना चाहिए।

2. जंगली जानवरों के लिए खाद्य प्रबंधन: जंगलों में हाथियों और अन्य जानवरों के लिए पर्याप्त भोजन की व्यवस्था की जाए।

3. वन्यजीव सीमा सुरक्षा: मानव बस्तियों और जंगलों के बीच बाड़ लगाने से जानवरों का गांवों में प्रवेश रोका जा सकता है।

4. मुआवजा योजना: फसल नष्ट होने पर प्रभावित किसानों को त्वरित मुआवजा देने की प्रक्रिया आसान और तेज होनी चाहिए।

किसानों की बढ़ती चुनौतियां

गुमला जैसे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में कृषि ही मुख्य आजीविका का साधन है। जंगली हाथियों के बढ़ते खतरे ने इन किसानों को दयनीय स्थिति में ला दिया है। विकास टोप्पो जैसे किसान, जो अपनी पूरी मेहनत से फसल उगाते हैं, जंगली हाथियों के आतंक से त्रस्त हैं।

वन विभाग और प्रशासन को जल्द ही इन समस्याओं का समाधान निकालना होगा, ताकि किसानों का भविष्य सुरक्षित हो सके।

श्रीनगर गांव की यह घटना न केवल स्थानीय प्रशासन बल्कि पूरे समाज के लिए एक चेतावनी है। जंगली हाथियों और किसानों के बीच टकराव को रोकने के लिए तत्काल कदम उठाए जाने चाहिए। जब तक जंगल और जंगली जानवरों का संरक्षण नहीं होगा, ऐसी घटनाएं बढ़ती रहेंगी। प्रशासन और वन विभाग को मिलकर किसानों के लिए राहत और समाधान सुनिश्चित करना होगा।
