विश्व मानव अधिकार दिवस के अवसर पर राजनीति विज्ञान विभाग में आयोजित कार्यशाला में विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ सुकल्याण मोइत्रा ने मानव अधिकारों के महत्व और उद्देश्य पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा:
“मानव अधिकार का लक्ष्य है ऐसे मानव का निर्माण करना जिसमें मानवता के तत्व पूर्ण रूप से विकसित हों।”
उनके अनुसार, जब मानव में मानवता के ये तत्व विकसित होंगे, तो विश्व में मौजूद समस्याओं का समाधान स्वतः हो जाएगा। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि यह तभी संभव है जब हर व्यक्ति को उनके अधिकार निर्बाध रूप से मिलें और उनका उपभोग करने की स्वतंत्रता हो।
मानव अधिकारों की सार्वभौम घोषणा: एक ऐतिहासिक कदम
डॉ मोइत्रा ने 10 दिसंबर 1948 को संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा जारी मानव अधिकारों की सार्वभौम घोषणा का जिक्र करते हुए बताया कि इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य पूर्ण मानव के निर्माण के लिए आवश्यक अधिकार सुनिश्चित करना था।
उन्होंने कहा कि अधिकार केवल कागज पर लिखे गए दस्तावेज नहीं हैं, बल्कि ये मानवता के विकास की नींव हैं। जब व्यक्ति अपने अधिकारों का पूरी तरह उपभोग कर सकता है, तभी समाज में वास्तविक विकास संभव है।
वर्तमान में मानव अधिकारों का महत्व
कार्यशाला में डॉ रुखसाना बानो ने इस वर्ष के संयुक्त राष्ट्र थीम “हमारे अधिकार, हमारा भविष्य, अभी” (Our rights, our future, right now) पर अपने विचार रखे। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में मानव अधिकारों का महत्व और अधिक बढ़ गया है।
उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को यह समझाया कि समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने के लिए हमें अपने अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक होना चाहिए। यह जागरूकता न केवल व्यक्तिगत विकास बल्कि सामूहिक कल्याण के लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है।
विद्यार्थियों ने साझा किए अपने विचार
कार्यशाला के दौरान प्रथम समेस्टर की नैना और सूर्यकांत तथा तृतीय समेस्टर की अनन्या पांडे ने अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए।
नैना ने कहा:
“मानव अधिकार समाज में समानता और न्याय सुनिश्चित करने का माध्यम हैं।”
सूर्यकांत ने मानव अधिकारों को समाज में शांति और समरसता बनाए रखने का मुख्य स्तंभ बताया। अनन्या ने कहा कि मानव अधिकार हमें न केवल अपने अधिकार बल्कि दूसरों के अधिकारों का भी सम्मान करना सिखाते हैं।
कार्यशाला का समापन और सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति
कार्यशाला का संचालन शोधार्थी धर्मेंद्र कुमार ने किया। विभागीय प्राध्यापक डॉ अजय बहादुर सिंह, डीईईटी फेलो विकास कुमार यादव, और अन्य शोधार्थियों की उपस्थिति ने कार्यक्रम को सार्थक बनाया।
समापन के अवसर पर मुकेश साहब का गाया और शैलेंद्र साहब का लिखा प्रसिद्ध गीत
“किसी की मुस्कुराहटों पे हो निसार…”
को उपस्थित सभी ने एक साथ गाया। यह गीत मानवता, करुणा और परोपकार के संदेश को जीवंत कर गया।
मानव अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूकता जरूरी
इस कार्यशाला ने यह स्पष्ट किया कि मानव अधिकार केवल कानूनी दस्तावेज नहीं, बल्कि मानवता के विकास का आधार हैं। जब हर व्यक्ति अपने अधिकारों का उपयोग करेगा और दूसरों के अधिकारों का सम्मान करेगा, तब समाज में वास्तविक बदलाव आएगा।
