गुमला – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित घाघरा थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत बेलागड़ा पंचायत के नवाटोली गांव स्थित आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में पेंटिंग का काम करने के लिए आए लोहरदगा जिला के 5 पेंटरों की बाइक को अज्ञात अपराधियों के द्वारा बीती देर रात आग के हवाले कर दिया गया। जिससे सभी बाइक जलकर पूरी तरह से राख हो गई। पीड़ित लोहरदगा किस्को निवासी अजय उरांव ने बताया छोटू राम, नंदेश्वर बाड़ईक, बादल एवं रामदुलार चिक बड़ाईक यह पांचो नावा टोली स्थित आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में फोटो, कार्टून व अल्फाबेट पेंटिंग का काम करने के लिए ठेकेदार रामवीर के निर्देश पर मंगलवार की शाम को पहुंचे थे। वहीं बराम्दा में सभी 5 बाइक खड़ाकर बगल के रूम में सोए हुए थे।
देर रात जलने की गंध आने पर बाहर निकले तो पाया कि सभी पांचो बाइक आग से धधक रही थी। ग्रामीणों के सहयोग से आग बुझाने का प्रयास किया गया लेकिन तब तक सभी जलकर राख हो चुके थे। बाइक में आग लगने की वजह से अंदर सो रहे लोगों का दम घुटने लगा। जिसके बाद पीछे का दीवाल को ग्रामीणों के सहयोग से तोड़कर कर सभी को किसी तरह बाहर निकाला गया। घटना की सूचना पर पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंची।
पुलिस ने बताया कि जांच उपरांत प्रथम दृष्टया मामला शरारती तत्वों का लग रहा है हालांकि पुलिस सभी बिंदुओं पर जांच कर रही है।

घाघरा थाना क्षेत्र में बढ़ती घटनाएं पुलिस को दे रही है चुनौती
पुलिस की तमाम प्रयास के बाद भी अपराध कम नहीं हो रहे हैं । जिससे लोगों में दहशत का माहौल है । अपराधी बेखौफ होकर आपराधिक घटनाओं को अंजाम दे कर पुलिस को दे रहे हैं चुनौती । एक घटना का पुलिस पर्दाफाश नहीं कर पाती है तब तक अपराधी दूसरी घटना को अंजाम दे देते हैं । लगातार चुनौती मिलने से पुलिस की बेचैनी बढ़ गई है । वहीं लोगों में भय का माहौल भी बना हुआ है ।
