क्या है फाइलेरिया?
गुमला : -फाइलेरिया एक परजीवी रोग है जो क्यूलेक्स मच्छर के काटने से फैलता है। यह रोग मुख्य रूप से लिम्फ नोड्स (लसीका तंत्र) को प्रभावित करता है, जिससे अंगों में सूजन और हाइड्रोसील जैसी गंभीर समस्याएं हो सकती हैं। लंबे समय तक इस बीमारी का इलाज न होने पर यह स्थायी दिव्यांगता का कारण बन सकती है।
लक्षण:
▪हाथ-पैर या शरीर के अन्य हिस्सों में असामान्य सूजन
▪दर्द और असहजता
▪त्वचा पर संक्रमण
▪शरीर के अंगों में भारीपन
फाइलेरिया से बचाव के उपाय:
1. मच्छरों से बचाव करें: सोते समय मच्छरदानी का उपयोग करें।
2. साफ-सफाई रखें: घर और आस-पास पानी जमा न होने दें।
3. एमडीए (मास ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन) अभियान में दी जाने वाली दवा का सेवन करें।
दवा का सेवन: फाइलेरिया से बचाव का सरल उपाय
फाइलेरिया को रोकने के लिए सरकार द्वारा एमडीए अभियान के तहत निःशुल्क दवा वितरित की जाती है। यह दवा पूरी तरह से सुरक्षित है और फाइलेरिया के परजीवी को नष्ट कर शरीर को रोग मुक्त करने में मदद करती है।
दवा सेवन के लाभ:
▪शरीर में फाइलेरिया के संक्रमण को रोकता है।
▪गंभीर लक्षणों और अंगों में सूजन की समस्या से बचाता है।
▪रोग के प्रसार को नियंत्रित करता है।
कौन दवा का सेवन कर सकता है?
▪2 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के बच्चे
▪सभी वयस्क
गर्भवती महिलाएं, गंभीर बीमारियों से ग्रसित लोग और 2 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चों को दवा नहीं दी जाती है।
जिला प्रशासन की अपील: फाइलेरिया मुक्त समाज की ओर कदम
फाइलेरिया एक रोकथाम योग्य बीमारी है, और इसे समाप्त करने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयास आवश्यक है। जिला प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग लोगों से अपील करता है कि वे फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन अभियान में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लें और 10 फरवरी 2025 से शुरू होने वाले एमडीए अभियान के तहत स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा दी जाने वाली दवा का सेवन अवश्य करें।
