विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के स्नातकोत्तर वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग के विद्यार्थियों को विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ अविनाश कुमार द्वारा रविवार को बड़कागांव के बरसोपानी में शैक्षणिक भ्रमण करवाया गया।
विभागाध्यक्ष ने छात्रों को वहाँ के पौधों की जनकारी देते हुए बताया की बरसोपानी की गुफा में नमी और आद्रता होने के कारण वहां निम्न वर्गीय पौधों की भरमार है। छात्रों ने अपने पाठ्यक्रम से संबंधित विभिन्न प्रकार के शैवाल (एल्गी), लिवरवर्ट (ब्रायोफाइट) और फर्न (टेरीडोफाइट) के अनेक नमूने पूरे उत्साह के साथ एकत्रित किए। इन एकत्रित किये गए पौधों के नमूनों को विद्यार्थी विस्तृत रूप में पढ़ेंगे। विभागाध्यक्ष ने बताया की इस तरह की गतिविधियों से ना सिर्फ छात्रों को प्रकृति से जुड़ कर पौधों को उनके प्राकृतिक स्थान पर देखने और पढ़ने का लाभ मिलता है, बल्कि कई तरह के पादपों को एकत्रित कर लाबोरेटरी में इनकी पढाई की जाती है ।
विभाग के श्री प्रमोद नारायण राम एवं श्री जागेश्वर ने भी इस कार्यक्रम को सार्थक बनाने में अपना योगदान दिया ।
शोधार्थी मिताली गुप्ता और कुमारी काजल सोनी की भी इस शैक्षणिक भ्रमण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही। विद्यार्थियों ने इस तरह की शैक्षणिक भ्रमण को ज्ञानवर्धक और आनंदित करने वाला बताया एवं भविष्य में भी इस तरह के कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने की मांग की । शैक्षणिक भ्रमण के साथ साथ सभी ने वनभोज का भी आनंद लिया ।
