वीर बुधु भगत की जयंती पर श्रद्धांजलि समारोह, स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में उनके योगदान को किया गया याद

गुमला, झारखंड – सदर प्रखंड के खोरा पंचायत स्थित बाम्हनी बाईपास पर वीर बुधु भगत चौक पर मंगलवार को उनकी जयंती श्रद्धा और सम्मान के साथ मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर ग्रामीणों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं और शिक्षाविदों ने वीर बुधु भगत के अद्वितीय योगदान को नमन किया।

धार्मिक अनुष्ठान और सामूहिक प्रार्थना

समारोह की शुरुआत धूमा टाना भगत और खोरा मौजा के पाहन हरि उरांव द्वारा धार्मिक अनुष्ठान से हुई, जिसमें वीर बुधु भगत के चित्र पर जल, अरवा चावल और पुष्प अर्पित कर पूजा-अर्चना की गई। इसके बाद उपस्थित लोगों ने शहीद को पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी और “अना आदि मुंजराना” सामूहिक प्रार्थना का आयोजन किया।

वीर बुधु भगत: स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में आदिवासियों की आवाज

कार्यक्रम में कार्तिक उरांव महाविद्यालय, गुमला के सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ. तेतरु उरांव ने वीर बुधु भगत के जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि उनका जन्म 17 फरवरी 1792 को रांची जिले के चान्हो ब्लॉक स्थित सिलागाई गांव में हुआ था। वे एक किसान परिवार से थे और अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ कोल विद्रोह के प्रमुख नेता थे।

डॉ. उरांव ने बताया कि 1832 में बुधु भगत ने छोटानागपुर के आदिवासियों को एकजुट कर अंग्रेजों और जमींदारों के शोषण के खिलाफ ‘लरका विद्रोह’ का नेतृत्व किया। इस विद्रोह में मुंडा, उरांव, भूमिज और हो जनजातियों का अहम योगदान रहा। अंग्रेजों ने उनके सिर पर 1000 रुपये का इनाम घोषित किया था।

अंतिम युद्ध और बलिदान की अमर कहानी

13 फरवरी 1832 को ब्रिटिश सेना सिलागाई गांव पहुंची, जहां बुधु भगत के अनुयायियों ने धनुष, बाण, तलवारों और कुल्हाड़ियों से अंग्रेजों का सामना किया। इस संघर्ष में बुधु भगत के पुत्र हलधर भगत और गिरिधर भगत भी शहीद हो गए।

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि बुधु भगत ने अंग्रेजों के हाथों पकड़े जाने की बजाय खुद अपनी तलवार से अपने सिर को धड़ से अलग कर दिया, और उनका सिर उनके आंगन में गिरा। यह घटना 13 फरवरी 1832 की थी, जो भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के इतिहास में अमर हो गई।

जल, जंगल और जमीन की रक्षा के लिए बना कानून

डॉ. उरांव ने कहा कि वीर बुधु भगत के संघर्ष का ही परिणाम है कि आज जल, जंगल और जमीन पर आदिवासियों का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। उनके बलिदान ने सीएनटी (छोटानागपुर काश्तकारी अधिनियम) और एसपीटी (संथाल परगना काश्तकारी अधिनियम) जैसे कानूनों की नींव रखी, जिससे आदिवासियों की जमीनों की रक्षा संभव हो सकी।

समारोह में गणमान्य लोगों की उपस्थिति

इस अवसर पर डॉ. तेतरु उरांव, सुरेंद्र टाना भगत, बुधू टोप्पो, हंदू भगत, गंगा उरांव, महेश उरांव, झिरका उरांव, महेंद्र उरांव, कुयूं उरांव, लक्ष्मण उरांव, चीलगू उरांव, विनोद भगत, अंकित तिर्की, आरती कुमारी, उर्मिला कुमारी, प्रियंका कुमारी, नम्रता कुमारी, लेंगा उरांव, गोंदल सिंह और विमला कुमारी सहित बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण और श्रद्धालु शामिल हुए।

वीर बुधु भगत का संघर्ष प्रेरणा का स्रोत

वीर बुधु भगत का बलिदान भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम का एक स्वर्णिम अध्याय है, जिसने न केवल आदिवासियों को बल्कि पूरे देश को औपनिवेशिक शासन के खिलाफ संगठित होने की प्रेरणा दी। उनके संघर्ष की याद आज भी आदिवासी समाज को अपने अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक रहने और उनके संरक्षण के लिए संघर्ष करने की प्रेरणा देती है।
